Re: What will be the repucussions to Rugby in general if France get turfed out in the semi finals?

No repercussions - just some shrugs and maybe some 'France gonna France' comments. Yep, if they lose in the QF's it'll be against a decent team, no need to get too upset. On the other hand, if they win the QF then lose to perhaps Australia in the SF ... Again, it'll just be France being France. If ...

Re: What's the dumbest thing that happens in every rugby game?

If a team has even a slight advantage in the scrum, they win every time. The fact you cannot go for a quick strike and not be reamed, means that the dominant scrum wins possession every time. Where to start... How about here: 'the dominant scrum wins possession every time.' If a scrum (i.e. a parti...

"There's too much kicking" is another. Bitch, they kick every 6 tackles in league. That's patently untrue! I've watched numerous Tigers games this year, and they hardly ever kick... ... mostly due to dropping the ball in the first 3 tackles.

Farked it I know. It’s a really good question. One thing I’ve always thought is they shouldn’t blow a penalty as soon as the opposition scrum gets dominated. F-ck it. Let them get dominated. Re: What's the dumbest thing that happens in every rugby game?

Why can't the referees enforce a straight scrum feed? It's how the game was intended to be played and could potentially solve a lot of problems and change the whole dynamic of the game. A knock-on is not supposed to be an automatic turnover. It's meant to be an even chance for the defence to get th...

I am extremely skeptical that there is no possible way we can have straight scrum feeds. The assertion that the scrum has to be fed crooked in order to work just seems whack. I suspect Christie will be the back-up starting halfback at the World Cup and Roigard will be the bench specialist. Christie will start the minnow games, but Roigard will be on the bench for every game.

Don't have an issue if that is the case.
