Appreciate DMac has scored all points for Chiefs, but at same time, seems to be their biggest liability

25 finals wins at home from 25. Down to 13 men and on the end of a lopsided penalty count. Still class to win the 5 peat.

Very happy, bring on the Brumbies next weekend.

Commiserations Chiefs fans.

I can't wait to see Robertson's break dance routine. Won't enhance his All Black coaching chances though.

A bit of rain on the pitch will help his spins - bad news for his shirt though.

A tactical masterclass in naivety by MacMillan I'm afraid. Not playing Sowakula at 8 took away their ball-running threat from the back of the scrum, and changing his general play positioning. Then in taking Gatland off, and moving McKenzie to 10 he negated what was their most emphatic attacking weapon, at a time when McKenzie had just missed the second of two simple kicks, and surely had enough on his mind.

Nevertheless, it was a genuine final, and the Chiefs, for 65 minutes, were right in it. Commiserations.

Hard luck Chiefs fans. That was the toughest final of the previous four (no final last year) and the Chiefs could easily have won tonight. You have a great young team and I think you're going to win a title in the next couple of years. You should be very proud of your team this year, they have played brilliantly. An your coach Clayton McMillian looks like a very good coach.

A detailed, meticulous organizer like Robertson surely anticipated this and has a spare shirt.

I’ll be honest, I don’t like the Chiefs but I find their players to be quite likeable. I felt for the poor bugger there during that interview.

RMo took that game by the scruff of the neck and drove the Crusaders to the title in that last 20 minutes. Master. Class.

I could be wrong, but I think he's won a penalty every scrum he's contested as a Crusaders prop. Two late penalties in their last game (his debut) and two late scrum penalties in this match.

Cheers AC. I think the skill gap was quite wide andxwe never looked like winning.

It would have been bloody interesting if Bridge was carded and a penalty try given for deliberately knocking the ball dead - but we didnt deserve to be any closer than we were anyway.

Like I said at the start of the season, it was a comp to see who would come second.

I'm going to log off soon and enjoy the evening but I can I just say that was a masterclass by Mo'unga. Not only was he perfect from the tee, and he kicked a drop goal, but his game management was superb. I hope the posters who have been advocating for Beauden Barrett and Damien McKenzie to share the All Black first-five duties took notice. McKenzie is a freak of a player, but his game management was poor tonight.

I was never even close to feeling relaxed about this game -- till RMo turned it on in the 20mins we were down to 14/13. I think the Chiefs were closer than you reckon.

The 9 points left out there by Mackenzie would have made it interesting too.

I think your right there. He added massively to our scrum and gained ascendancy.

Richie MOTM for me. Incredible performance.
