I have a feeling Giannis deliberately went under Kyrie. Remember what happened to Kawhi a few years ago?
NBA players know what happens if they did that and he was the second defender.

Well shit, Kawhi with an ACL injury and CP3 out due to the covid protocol.

No word on whether it's Paul or a contact who's actually got it, so he could conceivably be available by the time the Jazz win game 6.

There’s no one left standing ffs what is the point. Milwaukee were never live this down if they blow it.

I see old friend Bob Voulgaris is in the news all week. An all time great of the Simmons pod.

I used to watch a fair bit of poker and Voulgaris was a semi regular, I can see how he'd rub people the wrong way. Just doesn't have any tact or much in the way of a filter. Possibly on the spectrum.

But getting rid of Nelson is surprising if the reports about Luka are to be believed, you'd think keeping him happy would be #1 priority.

The same Al Horford who the Celtics didn't want 2 years ago? Sounds reasonable.

The 76ers v Hawks series will also come down to a game 7. I want the 76ers to advance, but I think the Hawks will win that sudden death match.

Looks like the Clippers will win through to the Western Conference finals. And to think I thought they were dead and buried in the first round against Dallas.

They’ve been very quiet on Kawhi, saying he’s out game by game but not ruling him out completely

They wanted him, just not at the number he could get elsewhere. Now there's not as much time on his contract, Walker's contract is worse and they get a trade exception with this deal, I believe.

Jazz coach played right into their hands by refusing to bench Gobert in the fourth. The clippers had 5 guys all making threes and Gobert was powerless. There seemed to always be an open man on the perimeter

Gobert has a history of being played off the floor in the playoffs and he really should have been hooked today. It’s not his fault, not many centres can guard the perimeter but the coach should have seen it was a terrible matchup and made the adjustment

Everyone on Twitter is dunking on him but I’d blame the coach

I do like him and he was the king of NBA twitter but he just seems to look down on everyone. I remember he did a pod with Zach Lowe and he wouldn't even glance at him, just complete contempt.

Total disaster for Utah. I love Rudy but he just seems to disintegrate the further they go in the playoffs. That contract looks an albatross.

Damn that was a gruelling watch. C’mon Bucks!!

Middleton and Jrue were brutal through 3 quarters, but damn they came through late  Good lesson to young players, you have to have short memory and just keep shooting

The Nets went away from what was successful for them all year in the last 3 games, presumably due to various injuries. They went to a slow defence based game.
Not their strength.

KD was outrageous again.

Thought it was a mistaken for Harden to totally cease from shooting. He needed to take shots throughout whether he makes it or not. By the end, KD was tired and needed Harden to step up but Harden hadn't been taking shots so was cold.

KD has had two GOAT games this series. A Shame they got knocked out, but well done Bucks. The Nets can only be betetr and less unlucky with injuries next year. And hungrier of course.

Home team getting booed off the court in game 7

Who'd want to play for Philly

Ben Simmons ain't "adding a shot" to his repertoire. He's the finished product and that's a terrible thing for Philly moving forward

This guy attempted 3 fourth quarter shots over 7 games. Total. Not per game. 3 TOTAL!!! And you're paying him around 35 mil per season for the next 4 years. Oof

He's quite useless in a tight knockout game coz he won't/can't shoot. He didn't close fown Trae for that last 3 pointer.

That foul by Thybulle was unforgivable.

Simmons just isn't good enough to be a leading player in a championship team. I saw the replay of him dribbling to an open hoop and then passing the ball - useless.

I would be blaming the coaches of Nets/Philly. I was actually concerned that they were relying too heavily on Embid/Durant. Coaches should've encouraged Simmon/Curry/Harden to keep taking shots. By the time they got to the dying seconds both Durant/Embid were tired but the others were cold.
