He can only afford one device, clearly.
I, like Paul Simon, have a poor little span of attention.
Are you Australian by any chance? League for you.

Just a heads up!
The Department of Defence have been told to be on standby for complete SA lockdown as of Sunday evening at 6pm... No one is to leave their homes unless you work in Front Line Retail at a food store, a chemist or the Health Services...
This is serious, I heard this directly from my neighbour Trevor who is best friends with a guy called Boetie. Now Boetie knows a guy named Daan who drinks down at the pub with his uncle Koos.
Koos in turn, was in the Navy during the bush war, who was married to Aunty Sarie and she has a daughter Ethel. Ethel is married to a Dirkie from the army and he knows his shit...!

is this on the Defcon scale (5 being the lowest level / of least concern, and 1 being full nuclear war)? Or the other way? I must say I've never liked the Defcon scale. Even the colours are confusing (2 is red, while 1 is white).

Lvl 5 is stay at home lockdown. Nothing open but essential services. I went for a test today at a top private hospital near by. It's a like a war zone. :((

I know you're being flippant but it's very serious right now in Gauteng. We are definitely getting some sort of 4/5 hybrid lockdown.

Re the match against Japan, I fear the Lions' usual slow start, unfamiliarity with one another, and a good Japanese team could make this a tough first hit up.

It also is unfortunate in that it doesn't accomplish a ton for the Lions in terms of preparation for the Springboks given the Japanese team's completely different approach / strengths / weaknesses. I would think.

But it is game-time for the Lions though, which is crucial / the most important aspect.

Not really that unfamiliar though.

We have an established centre partnership, a secondrow that played and toured together in 2017, 2 Irish in the backrow alongside an experienced tourist, half backs that would have toured and trained together (even if they didn't play together) etc.

My feeling is that Gats knows that 3 of the starting Irish are unlikely to get caps against the Boks, so this is their Lions international.
Second, he knows the Irish owe the Japanese one for the humiliation in the 2019 RWC.

Fair points although I'd argue that despite having played / trained together 4 years ago it still might take a little time to re-kindle the understanding / cohesion required for the task. But, point taken, they have familiarity. They've had at least a couple of weeks together too, now. That'll help.

The Japanese will play their usual 100 miles per hour game so it’ll be a good run out. I don’t think the Irish have any big grudge against the Japanese, we let ourselves down but they won fair and square - we were more disappointed in ourselves than angry at them.

Looks like it's confirmed for all tour matches to be on Peacock Premium for the US (the 4.99 / month NBC option) :

https://www.peacocktv.com/sports/rugby

As this has been asked a bunch of times can it be added to the OP?

The matches don't show in the app yet btw so fingers crossed that that page is not a mistake. They have tended to show details in the app last minute though.

Rugby coverage really is shite. Just a bunch of pomphous blowhards trying to be authoritative about a complex game that might as well be astrophysics to them. Just show me the game, analysis if you're taking the piss out of Wales, or something, and a commentator who talks a little louder to say, "Wow, that was pretty good!" so I can look again.

There really should have been support for him. If there's not someone who can ruck off someone going off the base of the first ruck quickly you're pretty useless on the basics.

It's not like it was a high paced attack either. It was pretty much one out runners in the 22. Shoulda been people with him.
