Scoreline reflects the half, Dragons slightly better. Game is there for the taking by whoever wants it most.

Ulster-Lions score is tighter than I anticipated.

Try Stormers, fair play they believed in it, turned down kickable penalty after kickable penalty.

Still tight tho, Dragons 10-14 Stormers L

Should have been a Dragons penalty when the drove beyond the ball, then the Stormers player came around and picked back up.

FT: Ulster 26-10 Lions

Congrats Ulster

TBH, I expected and feared a runaway win by Ulster. Thought the Lions did well but when you going into a game expecting to lose and just don't want to lose by too much, you limit yourself. And this showed in the first 60 minutes by the Lions

Cruel end for the Dragons, they deserved a bonus point from this game.

Very good win for the Stormers on form, Leinster did not find it easy in their match in Wales.

I've always said the Saffa sides will win their home games. They're lucky for the tour up north it's only autumn. In Dec - Feb it's colder and wetter

The United Rugby Championship confirmed that all home games scheduled for the Sharks, Stormers, Lions and Bulls in Rounds Six and Seven will take place in South Africa.

Contingency plans to play these games in European locations were at advanced stages due to South Africa’s presence on the UK travel red list which would have required teams to quarantine for 10 days after their two-game tours.

However, since South Africa’s removal from the red list last week, lightning-fast actions have taken place to ensure that all four teams are ready to host their opponents from the Northern Hemisphere on home soil.

This ensures that each team will have the integrity of playing all of their nine home games in South Africa.

“This is a brilliant result, not only for the South African teams but for the league which now gets to make a tangible impression in this rugby heartland early in the season,” said Martin Anayi, CEO of United Rugby Championship.

“Huge credit must go to the South African government, SA Rugby and the leadership figures within our clubs for managing to push through and provide reassurances for these fixtures to be played at their home venues in such a short space of time.

“Up until late last week, it look like a very tall order for this to occur, but now everyone in the league has been bolstered by this news and we will harness that enthusiasm to get ready for some real blockbuster fixtures in Rounds Six & Seven.”

Delighted with this news. Partly because it's better for the league and our new friends from South Africa, but mainly because the whining from nordies and the Welsh about Munster getting to play a couple of extra games in Italy would've been unbearable.
