All non-Kiwis should be in a schadenfreude state with an AB loss on home turf if not for inept touchies/refs missing the AB going into touch into the lead up to the first try and then disgracefully missing Tupou Vaa'i grubbering around on the floor at the ruck after the ball hit the posts.

Kicked back into the ruck by a Wallaby so accidental offside before Vaa’i did anything illegal.

Kicking the ball in a ruck isn’t accidental offside

Open play only, for that rule.

Shouldn't this be in the NZ politics thread?

It was a humdinger of a game, and well played to both sides.

Excitingly unfamiliar: the Wallabies hitting the ground running in a Test in NZ, despite limited preparation, dominating possession, and getting a draw over there (anything except a loss over there is unfamiliar, but this side was unlucky not to win).

Sadly familiar: losing a game against the All Blacks after having the better of it. What was satisfying nevertheless was Rennie's emphasis afterwards that they had nothing to celebrate.

The overwhelming conclusion: this coach will do us. Onward and upward, DR!

If you're not in the ruck and you kick it back into the ruck it is. I mean, it's 'returning the ball to the ruck', I guess but same result.

Thanks for that link though, it's reminded to pop over to GaGR and their delicious frothing outrage has soothed the downer of the drawn test considerably.

Far canal - used to be it was the Poms who used to whine like a 747 jet engine.

Move over boys, the pros have arrived.

this thread was started yesterday, within minutes of the game. It would have died if Greg hadn't replied today

but keep whining about it all, yeah?

It's not like any of us haven't seen you with your pants around your ankles screaming at pigeons during or immediately after a Chiefs game
:P

During doesn't count.

At the end of the game I'll shake your hand, call the ref a plum, flush the dunny and move on.

But this ongoing whining is very girlish and you should all grow a set of tits if you are going to act like this.

Again, there is no ‘ongoing’...

Kiwigreg (the kiwi) posted on this thread the day after it was heading for the edge of the table.

Perhaps this concept is too complicated for a big, definitely ‘non-girly man’ like yourself to process?
