You have to understand how Mog works before pointing the finger elsewhere.

Mog claims something is so.

Posters point out it isn’t.

Mog offers up false evidence and gets laughed at.

Mog doubles down.

McCaw’s hairstyle doesn’t bother me in the slightest, not like the truth does. He could have pink hair and still be the greatest player to ever play the game. He’s a dry balls who lacks personality. Doesn’t change how he is as a player.

Now Justin Marshall’s frosted tips...

You're being shrilly defensive about it. Mogs come out of your little exchange looking much more dignified.

I actually feel bad for bungle. Mog has left him in ruins. Hard to say where he goes from here.

Between Bungle getting manshamed by Mog and Sonny Blount tearfully declaring Dan Carter was a much better defender than Wilko, it's really not been a strong week for Kiwi boardies.

It’s quite dangerous for the bored to give Mog this kind of insincere validation. He doesn’t understand nuance

If it wasn't for his disgraceful dobbing of a fellow Lion, I'd say this man.

This McCaw obsession has to stop. He didn't play 4 years of the decade. He wasn't the best AB in the years he played. He cannot be player of the decade.

He was the most consistent influential player of the decade. Two decades in a row. What a colossus.

This 'complete failure to understand what this poll is actually about' has to stop.

It doesn't matter that he didn't play 4 years of the decade, what they're asking is if his 2010 season was better than Thierry Henry's 2011, Carters 2012 or 15, Read's 2013 etc. He can be player of the decade if enough people think it was. (It wasn't).

His 2010 wasn't better than Kaino's 2010, and obviously Kaino's 2011 was better than anyones (despite what some drunk ex players voted). If Kaino hadn't have taken his sabbatical when he did he might have taken out this title early in the decade.

As good as McCaw is for too many years in the 2010s there were other ABs better than him (Read, Kaino) but I guess if he's getting consistent 2nd points that could be enough to get him to the top.

Bit TBF, him and Brodie are no Johnny Sextons.

Yeah, the Player of the Year has often had some wrong un results. From memory, Carter's 2012 wasn't actually that amazing and Dusautior had an amazing final in 2011 but there was no way he was best over the whole year - Kaino was robbed. Read and Retallick had the best seasons of this lot, but it's obvious that people are voting Carter & McCaw on their careers as a whole and Sexton cause they're idiots.

It's either Read's 2013 or Retalick's 2014.
