That's a myth. There has never been any South African TV money. The SARU is broke and South African players earn less than their Kiwi and Aussie counterparts.

Watched this match on Sky Q (at 30x speed) looking for highlights. Seems like the only interesting things were 1. the try, 2. the (harsh) sending off.

The 6 nations turned down world rugby’s new league/vision and broadcasting deal primarily because they didn’t want relegation as the unions couldn’t afford to pay for the game if relegated.

I’m not sure how they could then turn around to one of the nations and replace them with another nation, which would signal the death pf rugby in Italy.
