Nothing about the missed tackles that actually lead to the try?

He put them on the back foot with his inability to execute a skill a child could.

Yeah they were 6/10 on the shit scale. O’Mahoney was 10/10. He should probably not be picked as a sub again, doesn’t have the mentality for it.

Those mistakes literally lead to a try.

POM's mistake lead to a loss of possession which ended up as a try 10 phases later. That was after he single-handedly created a phenomenal try for Ireland.

Single handedly, ignoring the turn over, the pass to him and the step from Aki that actually beat the last man.

Always hard to gauge against Italy but would have thought Ireland would have been reasonably happy until the late score, which was pretty darn good.

Good structure and good defence by Ireland, but we know that about them.
Good movement in attack which will probably only get better.
Forwards didn't look dominant enough against the wooden spooners and the Murray Sexton combo has been hanging around too long. Sexton had a reasonable game but there is not the pace in their play of seasons gone by.

Centres were a bit static, might need to be a yard deeper next week to make a few more yards on the ball, that affected bringing the wingers into play a little bit more. I'd put Chris Farrell on the bench to bring some up the guts carrying if it's needed.
Pack were fine, backrow looked great and balanced, Porter and Herring impressed in the loose while Healy was the glue.
