Thanks Kiap - wrong Aussie shirt (playing in the cool one).

I hope that Noah plays well - he could be a 27 yr old, 80 cap test player by the RWC 2027 - which is what you could base a winning team around.

AB's by 5-8.

Don't mind the OZ team selections at all (except from Simmons). Keen to see the young blokes have a shot. They'll get smashed, but it'll be a good learning experience.

https://www.rugbypass.com/news/target-o ... eb-clarke/
For Wallabies winger Filipo Daugunu, who is charged with defending Clarke, it’s a challenge he’s looking forward to. He says he “can’t wait” to get his hands on the young All Black.

“Our aim for this week was to stop him,” Daugunu said. “We’re looking forward to playing against him again on Saturday.”

“Our aim is to kick to him and to contest – for him to catch so we can smash him. Our target for this week was him. Can’t wait to hit him.”

When asked if there was a “target on his head”, Daugunu didn’t mince words: “Yes.”

Wallabies lock Matt Philip echoed his teammate’s blunt challenge, saying the whole team will be trying to “end” Clarke.
Interesting to see how this ends.

It's a good thing that free-to-air will be on HD this week, following the Flemington races. Believe it wasn't HD for Bled II.

Image

Will be of interest to see what they come up with for broadcasting of Supe next year. Ideally one FTA game per week live - HD would be a bonus.

There was a burglary at Moore Park Road.
The thief got the entire contents of the trophy room.
Police are looking for a man with a rolled up golden yellow carpet

I guess that is not as bad as last year when someone broke into an Wobbly supporters car and left two match tickets inside.

For the good of the game they need FTA for Supe, so fingers crossed folks.

Nice opening post btw, standing applause.

Unfort multiple things going down this evening, may only get to watch the odd minute of the game. :((

Whats the field kicking like of the wallabies new 10 and 12?

White kicked really well in wellington, if similar wet conditions he will out kick Smith, have to hope Smith actually passes it to mo'unga or either backline Barrett for the clearances

They have better kicking games than JOC and Toomua respectively but of course they are on debut.

Cheers

They may not be 100% given its a debut but I'm sure Rennie will have them ready to fire.

Stupid bloody wallabies bringing in quality players so we start getting nervous before a bledisloe cup when we don't have the old heads around to keep things under control

Given the disgraceful tackling efforts last time, I expect a few of them will be on their final warning anyway.

A bit wet in Sydvegas:
  • 90% chance of rain, becoming less likely late this afternoon and evening.
Perhaps fortunately easing before gametime + drainage at the stadium is very good.

So what you guys are saying is you saw more rugby played in 2 games than you're used to seeing in a whole season of Northern rugby.

Hmm. I’m not suggesting that they do not not have every right to be confident, just that a couple of weeks ago the mood was more subdued. I kinda liked it.
