How is that for incompetence by RA. Why didn't they get this Aussie ref to fix the 3rd test so we can have a decider? Third test should've been in Brisbane with an Aussie ref.

Swinton was excellent up until the card. A bit unlucky.
He was plucking out BPAs wayward throws and laying on some massive hits. Huge work rate.
He will be around for a while.

Agree. Just a little too fired up. Can understand why though.

I should really know this, but when a player is carded at the 40 minute mark like that but play continues for 3 minutes after the pen, do they come back on at 47 minutes or 50?

Both red cards were. In times gone by they both would have been penalties or nothing.

Yes. We need an abrasive backrower in the mix.
Well, only when Hanigan’s not fit, of course

I feel good about Swinton off, didn't want to lose to a 14 man AB side.

Fabulous intense game is being played at a frantic, exceptional pace and Wallabies defense and line speed raised a level. The hits are disruptive. Think Barrett's kicking game at 10 is a bit loose, but Wallabies dropping 3 back.

With a prop standing at centre.

Codie Taylor.. good player but there always seems to be an errant throw in a big line-out.
Re: Bledisloe 4 - Good v. Evil - Stolen Oz/NZ match thread
Thought that was harsh on Albie.

Still trying shitty 50/50 passes. Hold it, be patient, create pressure.

There has seemed to be a fairly big disparity in driving mauls throughout the Bled, the Aus defence and attack has been a bit average.

That's the Hanigan of old - bring him on and you get an instant blooper.
Then he does low fives all around!

Beautiful shot of Hodge's penalty kick
Re: Bledisloe 4 - Good v. Evil - Stolen Oz/NZ match thread
A lot of basic errors/catch & pass errors in 2nd half. Accuracy from both sides way down now. Whichever 9-10 injects more control could swing this.

What was the ABs halftime plan?
To carry on with the same tactics as the first half?
