Just think for 5 seconds that the Pumas have not even been able to be scared by anyone this year

Is Foster scared to undervalue the Pumas, and that is why he is not doing something more experimental?

Its a good experience, I have been to lots of test matches as a neutral and had a great time. Best is still probably Ellis Park 2002 for Wallabies v Boks, feral environment and last minute win.jdogscoop wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 9:58 amFair play to you. I must say I have never paid good money to go and see an international game here in which NZ were not involved.shanky wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 9:56 amI reckon this will be a great game for the local rugger fans. I will be able to just enjoy the rugby instead of carrying on like a pork chop at every twist and turn. Will be a treat to watch the AB big guns against a talented Puma side. One of my favourite players, Madera, for MOTM!
I am still a fan of trying out combinations against a stronger team in a game that doesn't really matter. What do you learn in a hiding (with apologies to Argies fans )?booze wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 9:33 amExactly they should have started this team last week. The 2 games against the pumas are ideal for rotation and experience building.Sonny Blount wrote: ↑Thu Nov 12, 2020 3:08 am
Maybe we should have started this team last week?
Scott Barrett and TJ Perenara look to have paid for their performances last week.
They have also given the impression that this is the A team even though they were saying they don’t have one after the loss to the wallabies
So long as they don't change 2/3 of the team. What do they learn from that, the B team isn't as good as the A team, but what about the individual players - which ones are capable of playing in the A team when they are all part of a losing effort.Enzedder wrote: ↑Fri Nov 13, 2020 10:37 pmI am still a fan of trying out combinations against a stronger team in a game that doesn't really matter. It is almost identical to Auckland's traditional jersey.

Go the ABs!
Yep. I am nicely placed in front of the screen with some nice cheese and crackers and a refreshing beverage.Kiwias wrote: ↑Sat Nov 14, 2020 7:14 amIn Auckland airport?Fat Old Git wrote: ↑Sat Nov 14, 2020 7:13 am Woot! Straight up.Jay Cee Gee wrote: ↑Sat Nov 14, 2020 7:25 am Actually agree with Marshall there - if you're gonna card cynical offences like Scott Barrett's, that should be a card also.
Cause you're in front of the offside line and haven't been played onside.Anonymous 1 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 14, 2020 7:26 am Maul was over why can't you knock the ball out of the hand of a player running with it ?
How they missed that...Jay Cee Gee wrote: ↑Sat Nov 14, 2020 7:24 am The worst thing about that Frizzell shove and subsequent handbags is that it prevented any replay of the no arms tackle that put Barrett down.
Not sure what Gus called there, he said the player hadn't changed his bind so he was fine in terms of the maul, then Smith took the ball out of the maul and he ripped the ball. He didn't say 'offside' just knocking the ball out of HB's hands.Jay Cee Gee wrote: ↑Sat Nov 14, 2020 7:25 am Actually agree with Marshall there - if you're gonna card cynical offences like Scott Barrett's, that should be a card also.
It's been ruled for years that a player who is part of a maul or ruck who'd otherwise be in an offside position can't play the halfback when the ball is cleared.Toro wrote: ↑Sat Nov 14, 2020 7:34 amNot sure what Gus called there, he said the player hadn't changed his bind so he was fine in terms of the maul, then Smith took the ball out of the maul and he ripped the ball. That's a massive favour for us to be honest.
