I bet the Boks wished they had turned up now.

I’ve been to quite a few All Black losses over the years but I can’t think of any when we were that much worse than the opposition.

The all blacks have never entered a rugby championship with as much advantage as this year. Being the best prepared with SRA, no travel to sa or arg.
The performances this year are Worse than 1998 and 2009.

Congrats Argentina, tremendous.
I thought lack of match fitness would get the Pumas, but delighted to be wrong

Amazing Performance from Argentina. Can't believe a team can perform like that in a first up test after such a long break away.
Just brutal and so committed. Well down and congratulations on a great and well deserved win.

5 defeats in a row wasn't it 1998.Sonny Blount wrote: ↑Sat Nov 14, 2020 8:59 am The all blacks have never entered a rugby championship with as much advantage as this year. Being the best prepared with SRA, no travel to sa or arg.

Wow, that's a statement. I watched all the ABs games on those years, and their performances were hard to watch as a AB fan. I'm glad that I haven't watched a single minute this year and that I don't care anymore.Sonny Blount wrote: ↑Sat Nov 14, 2020 8:59 am The all blacks have never entered a rugby championship with as much advantage as this year. The stadium looked great, where is it?
Clearly not in NZ.

I hope that there is no asterisk for winning under these strange times

Congrats to the Pumas.
Brutal no-miss tackling and immense passion won the game.

This is a disaster for NZ, lost to a team who hadn't played any rugby.
Foster should go.

I've never seen a game where a team has tackled so well. Did they even miss 1? If so has an international tier 1 v tier 1 team ever done that before?

In West Syd, Parramatta. Fairly new, steep seating.Fruit and Nutt wrote: ↑Sat Nov 14, 2020 9:04 am The stadium looked great, where is it?

Good for spectators

Argies should play better by game 3 or 4. This was their first if not mistaken

Have a look at the personnel and performances we lost to in 1998. Those losses were to stacked sa and aus teams with joost vdw, John eales, Horan, Burke, honiball, Joubert, du Randy, Andrews.Anonymous 1 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 14, 2020 9:01 am5 defeats in a row wasn't it 1998.Sonny Blount wrote: ↑Sat Nov 14, 2020 8:59 am The all blacks have never entered a rugby championship with as much advantage as this year. This year it’s to underdone argies, and wallabies with Simmons, slipper, hanigan, white, and banks

Whoop whoop ... well done Argues

Re: TRI NATIONS 2020: All Blacks v Pumas MATCH THREAD: Nov 14, 06:10 GMT
I hereby state that all AR NZ matches have to be played in Australia.

Re: TRI NATIONS 2020: All Blacks v Pumas MATCH THREAD: Nov 14, 06:10 GMT
Let's give Argentina credit. They did not look at all like a team that hadn't played any rugby. Rock wall defense. Smart lines and moves in attack. They earned it with better rugby.
Re: TRI NATIONS 2020: All Blacks v Pumas MATCH THREAD: Nov 14, 06:10 GMT
A good measure for me on how dominant the Puma's tackles were, was that Savea barely made an extra metre after contact all game. He usually is good for at least 1-2.
Clarke was also consistently manhandled.

Matera's speech made me drop a tear

It was all a strategy to make you feel overconfident. We have had an internal secret pro competition for years

I’m a few hundred metres from the stadium now.
Can still hear the Argies singing.

When you put a real No8 on the park things got better for you. In truth he should have scored and had he done so I think you would have won.
