The most relieving noise in the world

Post by Jim Lahey »

Has to be when the toilet finally flushes after you’ve blocked it and spent 30 minutes trying to sort it.
The sound of the water finally flushing past your dump in the pipes is probably similar to the noise you’d hear sitting in a park on a nice day with a drink in hand, arm around the missus, birds singing in the trees with a busker nearby playing Canon in D on their violin.

I have 2 of those a week. It's good to be me. Nowadays, I head to the bogs fully expecting a clogger, only to be disappointed. Mustn't be greedy though

From a completely selfish personal, irrational fear point of view.

The skiddy bumpy sound as the plane wheels hit the runway in Wellington on a windy day.
