Re: RIP DOMINICI
Awful news. I will always remember that try against NZ in 1999 and he was still starting and rapid for France at 35.
He was quite open about his depression in the past and childhood trauma from what I understand, is it being reported as suicide in France?

Poor man. You always hope they can find someone or something to reach out to for help.
Re: RIP DOMINICI
That's awful stuff. Was only looking at the chap making shit of the AB's a week or two ago on some facebag video. What score was it when he blowing out his mouth after it?

Yes, his life has been a chaos. He is an example of many of the players who, unknown to the public, struggle with depression and deep suffering.clementinfrance wrote: ↑Tue Nov 24, 2020 4:50 pm Best winger at the 99 RWC...

Yes, in Saint Cloud. In a park. He jumped from the roof of a abandoned building. About 10m fall...earl the beaver wrote: ↑Tue Nov 24, 2020 4:54 pm Awful news. I will always remember that try against NZ in 1999 and he was still starting and rapid for France at 35.

I have wonderful memories of him and some of the rugby played by teams he was in. I didn't realise he had had such struggles. Hopefully no wife and kids to suffer?

Oh no, this is just sad
That semi in 1999... unforgotten, still have those pictures in my head how he ran in and celebrated that one try.
May he rest in peace

All deaths are sad
Hearing that it was as a result of suicide is always worse

As well as the fantastic score against the ABs that everyone remembers, I’ll always remember him for one of the best howlers of all time - https://youtu.be/C_IuaU8WMxU

fudge.
One of the first games I can remember watching was France/New Zealand 99. Dominici and Lomu are the players that got me interested in rugby that afternoon.
