He has played more than twice as many tests as Southee but has only played Bangladesh and Zimbabwee 4 times Southee has played the figure padders 8 times. That is 10.5% of Southees career. As opposed to 2.5% of Jimmys career

Delving deeper Anderson’s bowling average at home is 3 runs better than his career average vs. Southee’s average being only 1.9 runs better at home - clearly a man for all conditions. Taking Sri Lanka as a randomly selected example, Anderson averages 46.08 per wicket compared to Southee’s 15.47.

I thought the same initially but he has fewer wickets and at a higher average in 2020 than Broad, Southee and Jamieson.

Tea time and Pakistan have only lost 1 wicket today. Really dug in. Yes it's a kiwi road but when you have so many top order players getting out for very low scores with pathetic shots it becomes a very difficult game.

Don't complain about Anon. I think it's great that somebody on here is so interested in New Zealand cricket that he regularly posts about it. Often he's the only one.

The captains, etc all said it was a great pitch afterwards, nothing wrong with... and in a way it was. The batsman scored about 300 runs off about 50 overs. Only problem was it was a cumulative effort by both teams, for 19 wickets.
