Stumps day 2 and it’s India’s day today. Bowled Australia out easily and now have a 62 run lead with 9 wickets in hand. A chase of over 280-300 will give Australia little chance.

Really enjoyed yesterday's cricket. And today should be just as intriguing.

I can't believe India fielded as badly as they did yet still led by 50 runs after the first innings. They should be leading by much more. I am on holidays, and have no major tasks or jobs to do today. My plan is to watch as much cricket as I can. I can't remember the last time I was as keen to watch some cricket.

I think anything over 250 will be a match winning lead given the wicket.

Warner is injured, Candice is working on him hourly. Hes also getting some treatment for his hammy.
Burns is permanently damaged and cant be saved.

We know that Candice is up for it, so Warner is a lock for test 2. Bring in anyone else who can bat a little and push Wade to 6.
We need wickets early tonight and hope to chase less than 300.

the bowling has been good, but the batting has hardly been poor. this implies it is tricky to bat.

if india snag 3 quick wickets anything could happen, but I suspect Australia will just go all T20 on them to try and blast their way to victory.

Warner would have been a handy man to come out and swing hard towards the low total. With the injury thrown in, today has gone about as badly as possible for India so far.

Wade going for it is a decent tactic. There is no point his blocking and picking up the odd single or two, and crawling to the total. This deck is obviously favouring the bowlers.

By going for it, I mean an appropriate shot played to delivery that does need to be defended, not trying to hit it out of the park.

Burns can block at the other end and practice his forward defence .16 not out from 100 deliveries
