I reckon he ejaculated 3 times while writing that. It's a bit of a shit piece but has been written to get clicks. It appears the players don't have any issue with short pitched bowling and the only people losing their minds about it are Kiwi scribes and some fans. I wonder if Reason would clutch his pearls if someone told him that Wagner and the other kiwi quicks regularly bounce the shit out of tailenders.
Reason's not a Kiwi (he just lives here) and most of his columns are targeted at winding us up so I'd be surprised if he hadn't done an article on that subject already.

And....google.

https://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/opinion/1 ... o-bodyline
So you can only be a Kiwi if you are born in New Zealand? What about Neil Wagner, Irene van Dyk or Jerome Kaino?
Mark Reason appears to actively dislike NZ a lot of the time. Look up some of his articles.

Edit: I don’t even know if he has citizenship or just residency which may invalidate your comparisons.
He's said he has emigrated and has lived there for 9 years. Almost as long as famous Vietnamese non-kiwi pie maker Pat Lam. Point is, a piece of paper doesn't make you a Kiwi or a Saffer or a Brit. Immigrants who live that long in a country are normally deemed to have naturalized.

But some choose not to. My brother-in-law has lived here longer and is married to a Kiwi but still feels Scottish - he would object to being called a New Zealander based on residency time alone. Let’s agree to call Mark Reason a stateless professional troll.

This gents is why tests are the pinnacle of cricket. 4 tests and 3 results possible in the last session.

It's the Russell Crowe rule. If you're a dickhead and another country has any claim on you, you're from there instead.

What if you're a dickhead like Sevu Reece? But very good at rugby.

This must be the most boring conversation topic in history. The only person who can answer which nationality they are is the person them self - if they are being honest.

I was stoked when India won 2 years ago but to win this would be most epic.

Border - Taylor - Waugh - Ponting - Clarke - Smith - Paine.

One of those names is not like the others.

It's hard to get a word in here amongst the Indian supporter's posts, but India should win this from here needing only 55 from 11 overs.

Well batted India.

Nah, they could hit a couple of overs for 15 - 20 each and it's all over.

I work over the road from Wellington train station and walk past the statue of Gandhi each day. That is bound to have some effect.

Brilliant cricket India. Australia being pantsed at home on their favourite ground with what will be the highest successful chase at the Gabba.

Absolutely fantastic theatre. Test cricket is the best cricket
