Just got my second shot at Olympic Park

Glad to see the queues are enormous but moving swiftly. People are in high spirits

Was funny reading all the righty tighty media claiming how brave the Furher was the last couple of days for not going into lockdown and destroying businesses in Sydney. The city was dead today, it will be even deader tomorrow. Wellington is less locked down than Sydney at the moment.

Muttonbirds, NZ epidemiologists support that the traveller would not have felt unwell or had symptoms before travelling. They did everything right here it seems - scanning in etc. Why keep up the claim that they knew they were sick? Are you basing this solely on them visiting a chemist? I did that today - to grab contact solution. I can assure you there was no illness involved.

And it’s been widely mentioned already, but the manner in which NSW reports new cases is so, sooooooo idiotic…

NSW recorded 11 locally acquired cases of COVID-19 in the 24 hours to 8pm last night, six of which were announced Thursday morning.

NSW Health has also been notified of an additional 17 locally acquired cases overnight. These cases will be included in tomorrow's numbers.

I think it's if you get out before the official start time then you're good to go? But that's just guessing.

The cafes, food court etc in Darling Square are still open but they're starting to post signs they're closing from tomorrow.
