365 million over 5 years, on a sliding scale with England getting the biggest slice at 70 million and Italy the least.

Excellent news. Will save rugby, Hopefully the 3 matches per nation that are allowed off FTA go to Amazon or Sky and generate further income.

WRU will give their chunk to a new amateur sevens tournament and Abershyte RFC to spend on Dai the plumber's wages though.

I reckon you could get a fairly fierce bidding war between Sky, BT and Amazon. I have a sneaking suspicion that Amazon will win (and bid big as well).

Apparently Amazon were impressed with the Rugby ratings form November. They may well wnat to bid big as the streaming wars are huge business.
