Interesting to see how the Reds go this week. They blew some cobwebs out against the Tards but have a lot of work to do.

A very tough ask fresh out of the blocks for the Rebels against a strong Reds side at home.

I can't see anything but a Reds victory but the Rebels might get closer than a lot of people think, Zakar included.

I’m going to watch this on my turbo trainer and smash out an interval every time McReight does something awesome. Should be so physically impressive by the end that Mog will be questioning whether I’m “clean” or not.

Aaaah shit now I'm going to have to work out just wtf a turbo trainer is. Some manner of home torture device, one assumes.

POSTSCRIPT

And now I know. I'd sorta guessed / half-remembered (?) it as being exercise bike related and indeed it is.

I remember when many of is doubted whether Thorn’s ‘gym sessions’ approach was going to be enough to turn the Reds around.

Credit to him, he’s proving all the doubters wrong. These Reds are as good as getting a packet of mint slices.

No luck with it. After a few pop ups, the next time it goes to a completely different page so you have to go back to the previous internet page, but then it is rinse and repeat.

What happened there. Reds had a penalty for obstructing the catcher and then its half time? TV was too busy on the replay

Not helped by a ref who's blowing the pea out of his whistle.

Shit all round, especially the ref. How that shoulder charge on the line was missed is beyond me. And 15 minutes to pack a scrum to give the rebels a nice rest.

Still, the Reds have been terrible. So current result about right.

Rebs 12 - 6 at half time.

Been all penalties, neither side have looked like scoring a try. Pretty even, Rebs marginally the better side, better structure.

O'Conner is not a general, doesn't have the spatial awareness, poor kicker of the ball. Toumua edging it. Defence on top.
