Didn’t let fuçkwit Sonia McG draw them into complaining about the ref. Well done both.

Just watched her interview with Faz. Dreadful. I liked the way he cut her off on her third question about the referee after he'd batted away the first couple.

England - and perhaps New Zealand - are pretty much the only team left who refuse to bitch about the ref after defeats.

Admirable sang froid from the fathers of rugby

Take the vicarious praise, no need for sour grapes.

It's true though...

France - terrible whingers after the last game at Twickenham.
Scotland - likewise (Watson especially) after the Wales game, not to mention during the RWC.
Ireland - awful whingers for years under Schmidt.
Australia - Cheika. Say no more.

England and New Zealand are the only spiritual guardians of the game remaining.

I don't know, would have been refreshing to hear "I glad you asked Sonia, the French twat clearly had it in for us today, what a bell end."

As it is, it was rude and a waste of interview time. 0/10, pay cut and demotion.

I suggest Faz missed a great opportunity to publicly ask Sonia (and the producer who was no doubt in her ear) to take her line of questioning to the round ball game where so many with her level of in depth knowledge of their sport ply their graceless trade.

EJ and his usual mouth could not be the spiritual garden of his own toothbrush. But they showed admirable restraint (fear of financial penalty) with Red Sonja.
