It's like they took a really basic training drill for rugby backs and made an entire game out of it. But each to their own.

I've been to watch the Wire lose a couple of grand finals and a couple of Challenge cup finals. Also saw a couple of Wolfpack games before they went racist. Enjoyable piss-ups, but I wouldn't search for a game to watch on TV.
7's the same - good day out, but not something I'd search for.

So Union, women's union, agegroup union, schoolboy union, 7s, turfhumping.

I tried my hardest to get into League when I first moved to Aussie, even went to a State of Origin, which I left before fulltime. I just don't get the game.

I'd certainly prefer to watch a low tier women's rugby that had decended into the muck and mire of a muddy forwards dominated slog fest than any league match.

Not really a fan of 7's. It's barely rugby. At this stage it's almost it's own unique sport. Like comparing softball and baseball.

This. 7s sucks.

Will never get the enmity towards league.
Ever had a chair swung at you because you had a Super rugby game on in the pub and refused to switch over to Tigers v Parramatta?
In my defense, I did politely ask you to change the channel first with an "BUT IT'S ME FUCKING TIGERS, CHANGE IT YOU CAAARRRRNNNNTTTT!". :x

And I would have let you switch it back to the rugby after we conceded the 4th try anyway.

Union, 7s, League.
If 7s is the fast food version of rugby, League is the microwave burgers you can get imitating fast food.
League, almost as irredeemable as the people that play it.

Sure, a lot of people think I'm an idiot. Given that this is place is an online asylum of anonymous nerds, I think that's a good sign. But they gernerally don't follow me around spitting bitterness and insults after every post I make. You are special.

15s (Mens and Womens), 7s (Mens and Womens), 10s if and when I find a tournament then only if in the company of my grandfather League. Which isn't too often thankfully. Used to support both but League from my perspective has become a very paint by numbers game with very little happening outside of extended shuttle running in the middle 60m portion of the ground. Now reading about the new rule changes it seems to be headed down the path of touch in my opinion. Which is fun to play but shithouse to watch.

I don't think you're an idiot. You make good points sometimes and clearly are fairly well informed on a number of matters. But sometimes you are also utterly resistant to people pointing out the flaws or contradictions in your positions and arguments. You tend to get even more blinkered to this flaws when others highlight and debate them.

That attracts the style of poster who mostly post to show-up and isolate others to show off to the masses. Of course there are plenty of other PR posters to like to rally into a mob, or their mob, to make easy pot pots and impress the rest of the mob when this happens.

1. NZ union
2. amateur union
3. league 9s
4. pro union at the moment
5. league (if they had a go on every phase instead of having a bunch where one bloke just crashes it up, I think I'd love it)
6. wheelchair rugby
7. beach rugby
8. bouncy castle rugby where players have their feet strapped together
9. media political scrums
10. 7s.

7s is a bit of fun now and again but I'd rather watch 15s/13s game.
