I'm not going to say anything for or against but genuinely interested whether you approve or not should your Government issue Vaccine Passports.

Passport - Which means you can go to Pubs, Restaurants, Cinemas, Travel etc, etc.

once everyone has been offered a vaccination I see no issue.

Just need to work something in around those who can't be vaccinated for a medical reason and aren't just anti-vaxxers

Sure, but I don't think the Government should be able to say what goes into your body, if you don't agree to a VP, you're basically potentially a second class citizen. I'm torn because the death rate is miniscule for those without underlying clinical health conditions.

I will probably have the jab once I'm offered.

It's a good point, if you're vaccinated, why should you care whether or not someone else in the building isn't?

It's a good point, if you're vaccinated, why should you care whether or not someone else in the building isn't?

Because vaccines aren't 100% successful? The idea is they are effective once enough people have been vaccinated to stop the spread.

I'd wait to see what the uptake percentage in the young before doing anything like this. If we reach herd immunity for this virus then why do we need passports?

Yes, this is too damaging for the younger generations to continue this way. Us oldies need to look after ourselves now.

Herd immunity means the virus cannot get a hold, so ceases to be a real threat in terms of the R number. Passports seem to me to be unneccessary in that situation.

I am in favour of them for international travel but I don't think they should be issued until everyone has been offered a vaccine. By that I mean if there was a global vaccine passport I don't think they should be available to anyone in the UK until everyone here had been offered a shot.
