It will be very interesting to see how both teams bounce back for this game having played in a final a week earlier.

Where did you find this?

Is it something they whipped up for Mothers' Day?

I was looking for a Trans Tasman SR logo to use as a header for this match thread but apparently one doesn't exist, so this was the next best thing.

Brumbies have to hope the crusaders have been celebrating a bit hard and are off their game after winning the arty final.

I mentioned elsewhere that I think this was particularly poor scheduling by NZR and RA. They needed a week off between the comps for the sake of the teams that played in the respective finals. How does a team come down from a final win or loss to be back at training on Monday preparing for a game?

There's no need to shout, AC

The Saders will have to work out how to get around that rushing defense style the Brumbies like. We'll need the pack to front right up. Having Havili at 12 is turning out to be an absolute luxury.

The random thing is if you quote my post you'll see that I haven't actually increased the text size. For some reason it's just bigger. I even tried to edit it to put it back to normal size but there is nothing to edit.

That's weird.

EDIT... you've got the first part of the sizing function still there at the start of your post.

I looked at the schedule on an app a week or two back and thought rd2 was rd1. I thought we had a dream start with the two champs facing off. I am disappoint.

This is what I’ve been waiting for. 435 days since the Crusaders last played an Australian Team (Won 20-24 over the reds @ suncorp) we finally have the TT comp.

NZ Champions vs 2nd in Australia, should be a great match!

It's because you typed after cutting and pasting so it goes the same size as the paste. I have found that to get around it I copy something of size want paste it in and then just backspace over it and it works. And I buggered how some idiot like me worked it out.

Not that many on here will care but the Crusaders have managed to book Internationally renowned Belgian DJ Netsky to play before the match. He played to 15,000 people at spark arena in Auckland last month, not to mention sold out festivals throughout the world.

Should easily help this match close to selling out.

The atmosphere looked great at halftime with the band and music. Great work from the Crusaders management and it will be even better when their new stadium is completed.

Great draw for the Aussie teams.

14 home games v 11 away.

All the kiwi teams have 2 home games, and 3 away, except the Canes who get 3 at home v 2 away..

Force drew the short straw amongst the Aussie teams. 2 home v 3 away.

No one whinges about rugby more than a kiwi.

If you look at the actual draw, it is 13 home games in NZ and 12 in Au.

Brumbies, Force and Rebels get 2 home each.

Blues, Canes and Landers get 3 home each.

Brumbies will be on a plane Monday to play the Crusaders who get to have a full preparation. The Reds will also be on a plane Monday to play a team, who’s been preparing for weeks, 6 days after the Oz final.

And yet you’ve found something to whinge about? Well done.

Not surprisingly as AC has found its quite hard to find any actual info on this Tournament apart from a draw. Is it the top two sides only that qualify for the final? If so are there any tie break rules.. wins, points FA etc?

I've asked this a couple of times. It's great to have a competition at all given the circumstances, but it's a flawed format on paper. Since it's not everyone playing each other, there's nothing to stop several teams from going unbeaten, or finishing on the same number of wins, and one still missing the final.

With Ennor fit again, it will be interesting to see what Razor does selection-wise.

The back three have been fantastic, and Fainga'anuku has been the find of the season. At the same time, we know how good Ennor can be.

Razor has shown that he is a very loyal coach, so I suspect Ennor will be back to starting soon - probably at Fainga'anuku's expense similar to when Bridge returned.

I suggest you look at the draw again. Trump levels of reality on display from you.

Brumbies at home rounds 3, 4, 5.

Rabble at home rounds 1, 3, 5.

As I said, Farce get the short straw. Only 2 home games, rounds 1 and 2.

Oh boy...

The Brumbies first 3 fixtures are in New Zealand, and then they host the 'canes and 'landers in the last 2 rounds.

The Rebels host the Blues in round 1, and then don't have another home game until the final round when they play the Crusaders.

https://www.rugby.com.au/fixtures-resul ... b=Fixtures

If you can't do the math, that's only 2 home games each...

Trump levels of stupidity huh?

Nothing whingy about anything I've posted. Its called an OBSERVATION.

I'm sure the OZ teams are happy with the draw. Good luck to them. They are going to need it!!!

Yep, but they have released the rules/laws variations, and maybe they just wanting to let one comp finish before releasing things?
Anyway no captains referral or 50-22 is bloody good news to me. No extra time except for final is right too I think.

Loks like you're getting your info from rugby.com.au, and Obelixtim is getting his from the graphic that Ali posted at the top of the thread. They don't agree with each other at all.

Just as well it’s Saturday night and not Friday.

Even so, they should still be playing for the Hangover Cup.
