He's 71 today. IMO one of the greatest genius's' in music ever. His early to mid 70's output is only matched by The Beatles mid-late60's in terms of the volume of brilliant songs and albums. The album 'Innervisions' matches 'Revolver' for being just abotu teh most perfect album, having not one dud or even OK tune in a line of brilliant song after brilliant song. IMO of course, but I'd wager a lot of people's as well.

Only 71?
He's been around for what seems like forever. I remember, "I Just called to say I love you" from my youth club days, I think.

What an absolute boss. Birdy Apathy, maestro.
Please, no-one post the Jack Black rant from High Fidelity.
On my last contract we had:
Superstition
Uptight
Signed Sealed Delivered
Isn’t She Lovely
Do I Do
I Wish
Sir Duke
Master Blaster
In our rep and there were STILL a bunch of others we wanted to add... his body of work is practically endless. I’d have loved to stick ‘As’ in there, too... is it the greatest love song ever composed? Possibly, it’s hands-down the funkiest.
Edit: when recording a promo for one contract, one of the clips was Superstition and our producer wanted a solo from me on there. We did a few takes and he edited them all into one.
“Great, really good...”
“Which one do you think we should use?”
“Oh, we can’t use any of them... they’re all too OTT. But I really like them!”

Why can’t Stevie Wonder see his friends?
Because his wife won’t let him.
Happy birthday to ya

An incredible talent. His recordings as a teen were awesome too.

I’ve seen his live in Milano, 2008 tour.
It was the best live I’ve been at until now.
There He played his most underrated song: knock me off my feet.
I already liked that song a lot, but in that live it was something that it’s hard to describe.
I simply started crying in the last chorus.
