Well done Chiefs.

Reds can add 'unfit' to their weaknesses.

Bryce Hegarty was shit! Liam Wright shit.

LSL, Wilson, Vanivuli and Tupou were good.

JOC, Paisami and Hegarty kicking ball away on a turn over... need to be shot.

Agreed. He made at least 2 of their tries with personal skill
The Chiefs should start Trask at 10 and DMac at 15

I'm personally glad the Chiefs were the only Kiwi side to lose this weekend.

On the other hand. The Reds probably didn't deserve the W.

I don't really understand the thinking at the Chiefs in moving DMac in from 15, where he's been the stand out all through our season and putting Trask back. He lifted tonight but he's good enough to leave there and let DMac do that thing he does down back.

I guess it'll be Trask for the last few games anyway, now.

Great performance by the Reds to show their fighting qualities, but lamentable that they let the Chiefs back into it like that: from 55 mins. their defence went into 'vs Crusaders' mode - they were way too relaxed, and gave them too much space. Apart from that, it was wonderful poetic justice to see that dweeb Weber red carded; he was one of the chief protagonists (no pun intended) in the contrived witch hunt against Folau.

That last Reds scrum, the throw-in was so skew the reds scrummie was almost facing his own goal line when putting it in. Jesus fudge I hate some things about modern rugby.

Yeah. Trask is a special talent and a natural 10

I love DMac but he’s better in that counter attack role with more space.

Also what NZ wingers does the guy who hasn’t scored a try all season replace?

You actually haven't seen much of Korobiete this year have you? He has been in sensational form (has been for the last few years to be fair). The reason he hasn't scored tries is all down to how shit the Rebels are.

Agree with the comments on Trask and Roe. Both looked better than the Blues halves have most of the season.

They have no props, average halves, adequete locks. Yes, they probably have 5/10 of the top wingers (or more), but wingers don't win world cups.

You can't argue about technical (and correct) rugby skillsets here. Towny will be calling you racist soon.

Anyway, that was refreshing, thanks Reds, and it was good to see a back row who realise that it's not the mungo version and they have more to do than seagull in the centres and take hit-ups.

Deserved win Reds.

Chiefs came back hard, but you won't find me agreeing with Bum Chieks for saying the Chiefs had an excuse with the DMac red card.

Thats why the new law is so good. Legit red, fudge off, get replaced, and the game is still on the line.

That's the big question... once he is cemented as the no1 fly half... his confidence will hopefully soar for the All Blacks... and he can be consistently brilliant there too...

I would disagree with almost every word here. LSL will start for the Wobs and JOC wouldn’t get close to the ABs.
