I won’t be disappointed if the Brumbies get a try or two to wipe the BP.

Ahhhh, no.

I seem to remember some bloke called Jones that was pretty good.

Hang on, he might have been 6 by then, in that case you’re right.

Just not enough starch in the Brumbies forward pack.
Been a while since that's been the case.

I really thought this game would be close.

Brumbies v Canes in Canberra next week should be.

I've been busy, sorry, so missed this. One good game a season isn't unusual for Akira Ioane aka Fat-guts McGee.

Yeah I don't understand why he didn't get more starts in SRA. I felt he was clearly the No.1 Blues 9 at the end of last season.

Me too! I was at Eden Park last week and felt the Blues were quite sloppy against a poor Waratahs side. I thought they'd have their work cut out for them against a better organised Brumbies team but they won comfortably.

Loved Robinson's post match interview when asked about Findlay Christie's try just before halftime. "Yeah mate he looked like a ginger running from the sun aye, looking for shade!"

I guess he can get away with saying that being a ginga himself.

He had his best game for the Blues and he is talented but he often is very slow in his decision making and his pass can fall apart completely as the game goes on.

The Blues always score more tries with Sam Nock.

he is usually fine

just a question about where the brumbie was toppled over his head at the ruck. this is OK ?

The referee said it was Ok because he was just lying there in the ruck i.e. it wasn't a lifting tackle from a standing position.

I felt the offending Blues player Akira Ioane was very lucky. Another referee might have deemed it dangerous and a yellow card offense.

Rubbish man. You’ve been going on like this all year. Christie has been the best Blues halfback bar none. Nock is clearly the 2nd best halfback in the squad. Leon McDonald cannot wiggle his way out of last night’s performance. It’s Christie’s jersey to lose now.

Embarrassing performance.

I feel it would have been a different game if Christie hadn't scored before half time, that really took the wind out of the sails.

Yeah it was a strange call by the ref. I assumed it would be at least yellow if not worse. I wonder if it will get a second look at by the match review officials?
