Meghan and Harry Lilibetgate

Post by Anonymous 1 »

Now it seems the disgusting couple have named their child Lilibet without getting permission from the Queen. Harry would never have done something like this if it wasn't for the influence of that scheming bitch
Harry and Meghan did not ask Queen to use Lilibet name - Palace source

The Queen was not asked by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex about naming their daughter Lilibet, a Palace source has told the BBC.

The source disputed reports in the wake of the announcement of the name that Prince Harry and Meghan had spoken to the Queen before the birth.

But a Sussexes' spokesperson insisted they would not have used the name had the Queen not been supportive.

They said the monarch was the first family member the duke had called.

The spokesperson said: "The duke spoke with his family in advance of the announcement - in fact his grandmother was the first family member he called.

"During that conversation, he shared their hope of naming their daughter Lilibet in her honour. Had she not been supportive, they would not have used the name."

Lilibet has been the Queen's nickname among family since her childhood.

Considering that recent studies have revealed that baby boomers are the easily offended snowflake generation, certain terms are fairly easily political position agnostic.

I think that woke doesn't apply either way for this non event though.

Harry and Meghan have instructed their lawyers to ask the BBC to cease and desist from making false claims.

The recent lurch to the right by the BBC is very sad to see.

They are terrified of the huge and growing conservative, nationalistic, royalist, racist, Brexit population in Britain, and have reacted accordingly by lashing out at Harry's newborn baby as a way to bring them onside. The BBC are trying to outdo GB News before they have even launched.

It just a part of British cultural heritage that some people are proud of and the media is particularly rabid about. Doesn’t really float my boat, but I enjoy a lot of the history.

I know that you kiwis are proud of your own cultural heritage and can get upset when people question the relevance of aspects of Maori culture in the modern landscape. Some people might think that that is equally as amusing as fvcking royalty in 2021.

You have a literal "House of Lords" that passes laws, it is hardly "cultural heritage" at that point. It's centuries of elitism and oppression and the "commoners" somehow defend it, which just seems bizarre to me. Then again you see the same in the US when the broke as fudge rednecks all support uber wealthy Republicans like Trump so perhaps it's human nature.

As an arbiter of this stuff, you might need to let us know what constitutes an archaic tradition (presumably a laughable thing) and what constitutes a cherished piece of cultural heritage to be embraced in 2021?

It's amazing how the British media and public can screw up something as simple as the naming of a baby.

It should be a sweet, feel good time, yet they manage to turn it into a toxic mess.

TBF the media and public didn't screw up anything. The couple had and named their baby which basically registered a zero on the publics giveafuckometer. It was only afterwards the BBC desperately tried to create some controversy

From what I've read Harry did what any other dad in the world would do. That is call the mother, explain the reasons for the name, and ask for her blessing.

Oh that's right, the mother was killed in a high speed pursuit while being chased by the very same media which are giving him a hard time now. The mother is dead.

What a pack of absolute cunts the British are.
