Chinese Tyranny

Post by Sefton »

The human rights organisation Amnesty International has said China is committing crimes against humanity in Xinjiang, the north-western region that is home to the Uyghurs and other Muslim minorities.
In a report published on Thursday, Amnesty called on the UN to investigate, saying China had subjected Uyghurs, Kazakhs, and other Muslims to mass detention, surveillance, and torture.
Agnès Callamard, the secretary general of Amnesty International, accused Chinese authorities of creating "a dystopian hellscape on a staggering scale".
"It should shock the conscience of humanity that massive numbers of people have been subjected to brainwashing, torture and other degrading treatment in internment camps, while millions more live in fear amid a vast surveillance apparatus," Ms Callamard said.
She also accused the UN Secretary General António Guterres of "failing to act according to his mandate".
Mr Guterres "has not denounced the situation, he has not called for an international investigation", Ms Callamard told the BBC. "It is incumbent on him to protect the values upon which the United Nations has been founded, and certainly not to stay silent in front of crimes against humanity," she said.

They can't afford too. Maybe the western governments who say they feel so strongly about a things they don't share evidence on (maybe they have it and don't share it, who knows ) then they should cease trade and importing anything from China. If China as they imply, say this is lies, could then retaliate by not exporting to countries they claim is smarting lies about them, even block their trade with them.

No point pussying about with vague articles for years back and for which only serve as catnip for extremely thick and dumb people to get all excited about by starting threads on rugby forums about

Well it's quite simple. Either it's happening or it isn't. If it is the prove it and if it isn't then China needs to push back.

You have to see evidence. Its got to be hard for much of the Muslim world to see the soundbites coming from nations that have done nothing but interfere , threaten, abuse, disrupt, invade, bomb, murder and destabilise nonstop for centuries to suddenly have a massive interest in an issue they seem reluctant to prove or demonstrate and claim it's for the good of the Muslim world and not part of their own geopolitical agenda

A million people , in camps...you know how they got that figure and you do know it has been debunked.

Population expansion, higher literacy rates, higher quality of life each year, higher GDP per capita, more mosques than all of the US and much of EU combined and even the so called vocational training centres, they close at weekends, people travel the vast expansion of the province to their cites, towns and villages.

Numerous witnesses...seem to be the same ones. The most high profile of which was even renewing her passport and traveling when she claimed to be in a camp and also then had her own family wash their hands of her claims.

We’ve not even got to the subject of the Chinese dictatorship forcing their people to be injected with the least efficacious vaccines. You’re moving from 60% of the population to almost 100% of the population requiring a vaccine in order to achieve herd immunity, what type of monsters do that?

No difference, they also had to deal with revolts and dissidents. I doubt there would be threats from the outside. Change will need to come from within the CCP itself. Like I said it could be a generation or two away.

The Chinese do appreciate good governance, fairness and justice but not in the democratic sense, where everyone is equal. They believe it in those virtues but being served to the public by the ruling class or the CCP.

Its an inactivated vaccine..plus if you know China then you know that getting 100% or near it is laughable. They won't. They may claim that and in urban areas that may get near.

To refer to the roll out of an inactivated vaccine as monsters but the roll out of a mRNA in the west as heroic shows you are so fu""ing stupid Sefton , I mean seriously stupid , that you are beyond help.

It's not be debunked. You only read sources on China who would be the equivalent of Trumps reading news article about how there is evidence US election was stolen. If this was 1989 you be posting how the the picture of that man standing in front of the tank at the Tiananmen Square protests was just western propaganda of a criminal stopping good citizens doing their job.

It will have to be the same in China tbh. Perhaps a more westernised Chinese leader may feel some embarrassment at being called out by the international community.

I suspect that these communist regimes apply reverse McCarthyism on suspected capitalists with added torture, prison time and murder, to weed out the westernised "traitors". Look at Jack Ma.
