The reason the Safa maul wasn’t any good last week because they didn’t mail (they only had 4 line outs last week).
I refer you to the rugby genius Director of Rugby/Water Boy:kiwigreg369 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 31, 2021 11:55 pmThe reason the Safa maul wasn’t any good last week because they didn’t mail (they only had 4 line outs last week).

I’m assuming we will be seeing another video tirade after this game?..I mean colbe should’ve probably got a red, faf a yellow..
The problem with doing it as a one off after you lose, and then not doing it after you win, stinks of bad sportsmanship
I would be embarrassed if the Ab coach or any coach did that, yet some saffas think it’s ok.. you’re a weird lot
Fossie will out think him. Few weeks in the waitingbrat wrote: ↑Sun Aug 01, 2021 4:14 amHe’s a disgrace as it stands

It was poor sportsmanship and did our game a disservice.ox wagon wrote: ↑Sat Jul 31, 2021 11:37 pm I've watched the greatest documentary of the 21st century (aka "Rassie does Nic Berry") twice now. It's like a Clogs and Insane Homer ref take down from years back, but in video form, and presented by the highest ranking (Director of Rugby) and lowest ranking (Water Boy) person in SA rugby.
Having seen the chaos it caused. How it silenced Gatland in all interviews (a world first?). And the result in this match. It's hard not to think that what really gets to people about Rassie, is there's a South African Director of Rugby/Water Boy, able to out think opponents. There was never a reaction like this when De Villiers or Straeuli or whoever were doing crazy/stupid/eccentric things.
How the Lions were able to illegally nullify the Bok maul in the first test, and in the second test were f**king nowhere at maul time, was the most noticeable thing. An area the Director of Rugby/Water Boy highlighted.
And we don’t care that you think our thoughts are irrelevant, but what you should and need to understand is the way processes are carried out in rugby -and they are not in a public video tiradeox wagon wrote: ↑Sun Aug 01, 2021 8:23 amYou see, we know it doesn't matter what we do foreigners will never respect us. It was good that Rassie stood up and pointed out Kolisi was being disrespected. That Kolisi pointed out the correct law to the ref, ref turned his back on Kolisi and laughed, then the ref did his own thing. Rassie took the flak to make the job of the boy he scouted from school easier. Massive respect from the overwhelming majority of Bok fans for that, that's a real leader, and that's all we care about.
Keiran Read also pointed out a correct law to a ref in an even more crucial B&I Lions test and also got nowhere. I don't recall any crying by coach or player about him being direspected. In fact that took that series draw and shitty call better then the Boks or Lions would have, the way they've both been carrying on.ox wagon wrote: ↑Sun Aug 01, 2021 8:23 amYou see, we know it doesn't matter what we do foreigners will never respect us. We're just lying to each other now.
Wasn't working, Berry needed to be confronted publicly that he was treating Kolisi differently (surely we can all agree from what we can see of the man a decent/humble/polite man who plays fair and has achieved a fair bit in the sport). Kolisi himself has said this week he's struggled with being ignored by refs and he's considered not being polite.
Itoje knelled on De Allende's neck, then dived with his hands in the air full soccer style when De Allende reacted with hardly anything. Biggar ran into his own player, then dived onto the ground clutching his back/kidneys, only to get up fully recovered when he realised it wasn't a Springbok he ran into (f**king hilarious). This is professionalism, this is the game now. Of course the ref is going to be crucified if he's shithouse. All the soccer elements of professionalism have been coming in for years.
Most South Africans are very literal, like all nice people are.

So here's the problem for you. Kolisi is an example of someone resisting all this, and what happens to him? Tells the ref the correct law, ref turns his back on him and laughs.

Yes he was humiliated in a situation where he had no power. Just like Kolisi in the test he reffed. Shrug.
It wasn't about that match though was it. Because the Boks hadn't lost the series, it was about the next two matches. Gatland has carried on for f**king years in the media. Shrug.

Exactly. Why give an hour long interview where quotes are picked out that may or may not be representative of your view (Jake White fell into this one), when the means exist to cut out the middleman.
