Totally accidental.

Thankfully the 20 minute rule is in place so it’s not 50 minutes with 14.

Could you see\ whether there was any black player in that breakdown? If there is no defender on his feet ruck over and no offside?
Yep, no ruck formed. Poor call.
Doesn't need to be, you can create an offside line with one man over the ball now. In this case the important thing is if his feet are behind the ball AND he's the hindmost bound player, he wasn't.
So you disagree with Andrew Merhtens, who pointed out there were NO AB players in the breakdown over the ball.
I just explained it. Of course I disagree, it was black and white, the TMO hardly had to look at it twice it was so obvious. He had to be the hindmost player bound in his team to pick that ball up, simples.
No, you claimed there was an AB player on his feet over the ball; Mehrts' point is he couldn't see one, so no offside line.

I reckon Merhts is right, so if you want have an argument about it, maybe you should email him or something.

You obviously think that’s an intentional kick? I don’t at all.

This is where the laws are incredibly tough.

Luckily the Wallaby 10 is having a shocker.

Just what the thread needs. An NH perspective where any off the ball play is deemed intentional and filthy. How ridiculous.

I’d put more emphasis on MK’s lack of awareness closing in a player in the air. Let the player get to the ground safely.

Intent is irrelevant- fine.
But reckless? Where else is his bloody leg supposed to go? He’s 6’5, of course his leg will fly up

With 20 minute red cards, the officials are going to hand them out more liberally.

Which law covers it? Mitigation exists for high shots but I don’t think I have ever seen an accidental kick penalty.

I think it was accidental as he was tilting back in the air and his leg came out as a counterbalance. Don't really think it was reckless

If some head highs are given yellows because the ball carrier is descending into the tackle then this should be given some consideration

I don't think it was intentional and he just pulled his knee into his chest but I've also thought for a long time JB does silly things with his feet and knees when going up for the ball. Very clumsy to say the least to give someone a full face of sprigs after going up for a kick.

I look forward to a montage showing prone jumping players legs and how they balance to find firm ground again.

Meanwhile you think he kicked him intentionally.
