Just what the thread needs. An NH perspective where any off the ball play is deemed intentional and filthy. How ridiculous.

I’d put more emphasis on MK’s lack of awareness closing in a player in the air. Let the player get to the ground safely.
You're welcome mate.

Strange how I've seen hundreds of jumping catches and can't remember a player lifting his foot to kick a tackler in the face before. How natural is that? It was a red and the only argument is you don't like the laws.

Not with the 20min replacement.

I just contest that it was deliberate.

Australia’s defence is woeful and they have no vision. Should have gone wide right quickly.

WTF did Lolesio kick? Bring Quade on………oh wait.

It’s been a nailed on red up here for a while, not a natural jumping action like Bruce Lee.

These Beauden chip kicks need to stop. Either run and keep possession or kick for field position.

Thought it was a natural movement trying to right himself in the air.

Be interesting to see how the judiciary treats it anyway.

Yep, no ruck formed. Poor call.
Doesn't need to be, you can create an offside line with one man over the ball now. In this case the important thing is if his feet are behind the ball AND he's the hindmost bound player, he wasn't.
So you disagree with Andrew Merhtens, who pointed out there were NO AB players in the breakdown over the ball.
I just explained it. Of course I disagree, it was black and white, the TMO hardly had to look at it twice it was so obvious. He had to be the hindmost player bound in his team to pick that ball up, simples.
No, you claimed there was an AB player on his feet over the ball; Mehrts' point is he couldn't see one, so no offside line.

I reckon Merhts is right, so if you want have an argument about it, maybe you should email him or something.
One man from the attacking side over the ball, you and Merhts need to brush up on your law changes, it's not that new.

If it had happened the other way around there would be calls for a card for taking out the player in the air.

Just what the thread needs. An NH perspective where any off the ball play is deemed intentional and filthy. How ridiculous.

I’d put more emphasis on MK’s lack of awareness closing in a player in the air. Let the player get to the ground safely.

It’s not the card. It’s the usual Irish interjection that a player is filthy. You could class it as reckless, but I have every doubt that he would intentionally kick a player in the head.

Wobs look worse than last time at Eden Park. Missing BPA and LSL up front. Lolesio just not test standard. Ditto for Banks.
The extra man not enough to level the playing field.

Bring on TT, Petaia for Banks and Hodge for Lolesio.
