If this is a try it will be the biggest fluke ever.

Nope, no try

This will wind up as another unalloyed flogging representative of the differing skill levels between the two teams. The ABs are superior in most of the generic oval-ball skills, catching, passing and tackling in particular, and in the rugby-specific skills of breakdown accuracy and lineout operation.

Sadly, I can’t see much of this changing given where the XV-a-side code sits in the food chain of Strayan winter men’s’ team sports. Hence one is forced to derive comfort from the little things. Like the fact T McDermott is turning out to be one hell of a player.

That said, he’d look even better behind an ABs or ‘boks pack…

He’s fat around the middle. Can’t say that about many pro front rowers these days.

On first view I thought McKenzie had pulled out some mad hacky-sack skills. On second view, no.

Tate off. Only him, Kerevi and Swain can hold their heads high after this one. Hooper industrious as usual. Everyone else has disgraced themselves.

Not bad in most aspects but not as good as Richie Mo'unga
He’s been understated. The early chip was poor but the grubber to set up Jordie’s try was very good. He hasn’t looked to take the line on himself and has been solid but not spectacular.

6.5/10.
By the way has Barrett had any severe injuries to his legs in the past? What happened to his ridiculous pace of a few (many) years ago? At one point I was sure he was the fastest AB on the pitch and that made him dangerous AF

Maybe his toes are f**ked from the way he kicks the ball
No injuries, just age I would say.

Annoying thing is - he's ace from the corners but anything just to the side of the middle is gash.

Try awarded!!

By the way, this version of Ioane is starting to remind me a bit of the young Kieran Read who lived out on the wing. Quite nice.

The selectors need to re-examine their predilection for picking a number of players who seem to be bolted on, yet have failed multiple times. Valetini should be nick-named "tow truck".

Harsh call on Brodie, he tackled the man and thought he was going to get up so was holding him.. No way to see him do that release. Oh well.

Stadium is class.

Will that be replacing both Subiaco and WACA for AFL and cricket respectively
