I was genuinely shocked to have only just discovered that he is no more, I cannot understand how I missed this.

He was a very gifted engineer and a great character on Mythbusters.
Just 49 years old.

Kim Jong-Il, thought a guy with that kind of mystic powers would have lived forever.

I mean, look at all that happened when he was born!

his birth was heralded by a swallow, caused winter to change to spring, a star to illuminate the sky, and a double rainbow spontaneously appeared

How could a guy with that kind of beginning ever have an ending?

Its crazy that the poor people of North Korea are so brainwashed that they believe this without question
