By how much would Australia beat the British & Irish Lions?

Post by Mog The Almighty »

Interesting that even a struggling Southern Hemisphere side would theoretically beat a team made of the best players from four different Northern Hemisphere teams all combined.

Just imagine what the All Blacks would do.

Pretty clear that despite the "basketball rugby" slurs the SH sides Australia and NZ play at a pace the NH (and SA) generally struggle with. That noted, though the SA scrum seems to be stronger it isn't to a degree that can nullify the side's lack of pace.

Wales are playing SA NZ and OZ later this year x(

The NZ match is outside the internationalwindow and we have about 10players out injured as well.

All 3 should win by 30 plus points

I wonder how a good club side that plays together frequently like Leinster or Exeter would fare against the Lions or an International Tier 1 side.

The Lions and International players may be better but the club sides play together all the time and know each other inside out

Well done in advance. I always thought Rennie was a future world cup winner!

I think most B&I Lions supporters have lost interest because of how poor this tour was (and really how it’s been going for years).

Not great for the likes of Australia who rely on the cash from the tours to stay afloat. Hopefully interest comes back next time out to bail you guys out again.

4 of the last 6, and the only exception not due to a NH side being World Champions was Australia, so maybe not...

No that's bollocks. Thisyears Autumn internationals for Wales at least are a sellout. Wales have a shit load of injuries and play NZ outside the international window.
It'sajoke and I don't want to watch 3 matches against far superior teamswhen we have so many injuries and players not ready for international duty.

Under Gatland? I’m going with “Ginger stepchild”.

The lions gameplay was an aberration, been a breath of fresh air watching Australia. Gatland is a massive cünt.

Not just the gameplay the selection was appalling, the pack being crowded with players from the team that finished 5th in the 6n x(
