In the past when it has been changed, it has generally been kept to the names given at birth.
so the candidates are: Charles Philip Arthur George

I see many in the past had the name Arthur, including both of his sons. I suspect they are trying to form a link to the legend, but note that none ever actually gave themselves that regnal name. 50/1

Phillip was the name of his father, whom I suspect he hates. The most memorable King Phillip was Spanish, so I suspect it will also be avoided. 100/1

So that leaves George, the name of his grandaddy, and the name of the last two kings. If he does not become King Charles, he will become King George. 2/1

Looking for a bit more clues I note the names of his son's are :
William Arthur Philip Louis
Henry Charles Albert David

As George is missing from both, and as the last name appears to that of the grandfather, I suspect that he will indeed take Charles as a regnal name, with his sons also keeping their names. So King Charles would be 8/15.
Do you work at a newspaper? You've managed to write a story about nothing.

Barbados has elected it's first President.

Talking with some Aussie friends they wouldn't like King Charles III as head of state but worry about the political mess electing a President would create in an already f**ked up system.

The notion of an elected but politically neutral head of state seems beyond them.

Liz should step aside and enjoy her dotage in the life of spendour and luxury she was bred for.
She was around the age Charles is now when people first starting saying she should step aside. It's pointless as she has made it clear she believes it's hers for life.

Does he have to give Wales to William when he becomes king ?

I'm not a monarchist but QE2 has been an example of how to do it right.
I hope she's well and good but the timing of her illness after Boris Johnson confirmed his attendance was fortunate as of course the idiot turned up at an event explicitly non sectarian wearing a face mask with a Union Jack on it.

Will the commonwealth break up after the queen dies. She has held it together through the respect the nations have for her.

Probably not - but it's not a popularity contest.
I bet he would be a bit more popular than Andrew.
Probably. But then even if the golddigger is telling the truth, banging a 17 year old isn't illegal in the UK.
No but the 17 year old being trafficked across state lines for sex is the issue.
His crimes are under USA jurisdiction not UK law iirc.

You can be in Epsteins corner if you want but ffs its like defending Savile.

Not defending anyone but if you met a girl at the party is your first question whether she is there by her own consent?

Not gonna fly for a geezer pushing eighty. He'd just be known as The artist formerly known as Prince... Charles.
