When's Trott's TT on? And Hammer? Guardian was saying they were due to start once the men's Keirin semis had finished...

Interesting, Brit cycling use hotpants that key their legs temperature at the right level. The dutch team saw this and immediently brought a hot-blanket for one of their riders.

Immitation is the sincerest form of flattery. It also shows how in awe other countries about Britains cycling developements. I still think they are intentionally overstating their infulence and it's the 100% amazing management of the cyclists both physically and mentally is the bigger difference.

Interesting, Jamie Staff does say some of their ideas and developements don't work and get thrown out. They are just willing to experiment and test out anything. But they basically meet-up and write down any and every idea on a blank sheet of paper and research it.

Just had a thought!

Will the other riders allow Hammer to finish ahead of them to stop Trott finishing three places in front of hammer?

I think Trott has to be two/three places ahead of her rival

I do admire our young female bikeists but i think id be slamming my face into a wall if I had to have a protracted conversation with them

I dont know why I expect young people who happen to excel in a sport to not be as annoying as other young people

Apparently not, just manshame the rest of them from what i could gather.

pendelton and hoy looked a different class in ..............whoops I dont want to put the mockers

both useless
Anna Meares is a massive threat to Pendleton. Vicky looks good but she's up against the very best and Meares has iced everything here too.

You wankers are actually on course for about 27 medals  It's getting a bit surreal now.

Whoever has put all this together is as big a shoe in for honours as the Queens corgi groomer was in 1979.

Edmondson in great ride. Trott herself will have to do well to top that. As will Hammer.
