Take the win and get the hell outta there
Yip, the logistics of playing on Kazan were a disgrace.
The fact that we has a depleted squad didn't help at all.
3 points today and in the week would be great.
Hopefully Belgium have a big won today

Probably be better if the Czechs win. We’re pretty much guaranteed a play off through the nations league.

It’s top spot or nothing.

A win's a win! Fine result given the amount of players missing.

The Premier Sports Commentator is strongly hinting that this is the Brazilian health official throwing a strop at the fact that the Argentine Premier League players travelled but the Brazilians didn't

The return leg in November should be interesting!

Apparently we only had 2 people on the bench. Is that right? Due to quarantine issues.

No. We had a full bench - but only made 2 subs

Any links to our road for qualification, as it seems Belgium are nailed on.
Even if we go the same points at the end of the group stage it seems they will have superior goal difference.

Too complicated for me sorry! - But I think essentially if something like 4 out of 6 big fish countries qualify as expected - then we are guaranteed a play off place via Nations League?

MOM performance from 19 year old goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu tonight for Ireland against Serbia . I know we’re shit but he looks like a player with a very high ceiling.

We can't fault their effort. They give it everything but there is a lack of quality for this level of football. These lads are playing at their limit. We are where we are

We’re really badly lacking around the middle of the field with little hope of that improving any time soon unfortunately . We actually have a decent defence now with Duffy back to his best , Egan , Doherty, Coleman and young Omobamidele looking to the manor born . Plenty of young attacking talent too in Idah , Connolly and Parrot but will any of them develop into a regular goal scorer for us ?

Sad thing is we have no premier league standard strikers or midfielders but the bigger problem is we're picking players not getting their game for their clubs.

Incremental improvements though and it's certainly a culture shift in how we are now playing or attempting to play passing football.

No going back now. We can't do another Trappatoni and play no loss at all cost aids football .

If Kenny ultimately fails, he will leave good foundations for the next manager as this team by and large is young

He needs to find a left midfielder. McClean was finished 5 years ago. We need a striker who can score goals not just hold up the ball.

Declan Rice really was a monumental loss given how poor we are around the middle. Parrot might be the answer to our goal scoring problems but he’s still some way off

He was at United at the wrong time. They had Jose as manager and were going nowhere. Then they got Oli and have been pretty much going nowhere expensively ever since

Still. Before Ronaldo joined I didn't think they were capable of winning the league... I do now. And I support Liverpool.. 😄

By a mile.

Savvy under pressure too. I reckon chances of a title are Chelsea 80%, Man City or Liverpool 20% might be even less.

Just out of interest here.

Is the BBC league table accurate or they just can't have two #1s?

But Chelsea and Liverpool have identical everything, but Chelsea are top.

Thoughts?
