I liked the idea of being straight back before the curved run up, but the stutter left him with nowhere to go when the keeper didn't dive.

Good response, fab goal.

And Sterling's first touch is consistently very poor.

Sterling's had a pretty good season so far.

Anyway - rubbish Barca performance, a half strength team playing at half pace. And they win 4-0, and it could easily have been more. Humiliating for Pep.

Stones is a below average premiership defender for me. Just because he can play the ball a little he's at Man City for 50m (and it is a little-he'd be no good in midfield)

Given PSG's poor domestic form, I'm starting to believe we might actually win our group for a change. Of course this will just mean Bayern will finish 2nd in theirs and we'll draw them anyway.

Mad keeper doesn't equal 'ball playing GK'

Fair play to Joe Hart for sensing this and just going out on loan rather than leave completely

Don't worry, Jamie Jackson at the Graun will be penning a piece on how actually brilliant Claudio Bravo was last night and we just don't get it like Pep does.

Still Dundalk 1 Zenit St Petersburg 0 after 63 minutes. Absolutely fantastic result if Dundalk can hold out.

That 1st goal scored in 30 seconds fvcked Jose's plans. Didn't have time to set the bus handbrake.

They were truly magnificent today, it was great to see the lads playing with verve and vigour again.
The noise of the usually vocal Manure fans is deafening

Looks like Manure will have to spend hundreds of millions to compete with the home-grown talent of Chelsea.
