There is no animosity towards Wales in football. We don't even pay any heed. The fear is England winning the tournament.

Now in rugby it's different then we do hate Wales with a passion
Fear?

fudge me, but you're weird.

I want an England win and Irish tears. It would be better if England could get a winner in the 94th minute.
Well naturally Germany are my favourite team after Ireland but any EU team beating England will be good although the Wembley path to the final all the way does have a fix feel about it
Ja?

I don't get the difference in offence between any EU team and any team against England.

In support of the Irish though, I have only met 1 well known pro footballer in '98 - Jimmy Quinn. Had a good chat with him the Cardiff players lounge post game v the Posh. Absolute diamond of a guy.

The only thing I remember was we were discussing strikers at the time, and there was only one premier striker he did not rate.

I chatted with their manager Barry Fry too. What a larf he was.

So its like you have the whole world, and then the EU is just a part of it. They are not the same thing.

Indeed. But as I think you should be united, I count it all the same. Outrageous what GB/England did to the island of Ireland.

My target for Wales was to qualify from the group, anything else a bonus. It ends here. Not overly saddened. I really hope that Bale and Ramsey get to play in a WC. Far lesser players have done so.

Midfield lacks cohesion - Ramsey too far forward & Morrell & Allen too defensive. Need a proper no 8 from somewhere

Shameful performance, really.

Robert Page is obviously not up to the job yet I dare say he and his merryband of losers will be celebrated by the Welsh meeja and fans.
