It's not an EU tournament. And it's a sport first founded in Britain.
Yes, of course, but I will still find it amusing should England win.

You wait and see how extreme they'll go if England lose.... from Sir Gareth to Pizzaman in an instant,,.

England was the last European team to have won the World Cup when it joined the EU. Our natural pre-eminence then turned to shit.

We've taken back control and it's coming home. Ing-er-land!

For the record, Denmark are way over priced for the game tomorrow night and as such are massive value and worth £40 of anyone's money.

England have played well but they haven't had to initiate any "Plan B" so far in the tournament, they could crumble ala Croatia in the last semis should the Danes score first, which they are more than capable of.

I took England when they were 10s on the Exchange after the Scotland game so I'm all good and covered whatever the outcome.

A last minute controversial goal for Denmark would be magnificent case study in terms of the outrage and media shit storm that would follow. Daily mail calling for bacon to be banned. Lurpak would be dumped. Pret A Manger would stop selling all pastries referred to as a danish.

It's what no doubt a large percentage of the world will be hoping for. Good luck!

It’s Sandi Toksvig I fear for. She’s end up living in hiding with Salman Rushdie.

That alone makes a Danish win attractive. She has to be the least funny host in British media.

You’d also have to factor in the James Corden angle of England won. A Danish win could be a win for British TV.

One of which was offside and second probably would have been ruled out by VAR for Insigne offside in the buildup too.

299 passes v 812
35% possession v 65%
It reminds me of Ireland's rugby tactics in the last days of Schmidt. Loads of possession but an inability to pile on the scores.

Spain are missing a clinical striker but if Oyazarbal hadn't had a mare they'd have won comfortably.

Spain didn’t look like a “team” although much better players all round.
