I wonder how satisfied City fans are with Pep? For all the money spent he's managed, what, 1 league title and a few cups? Not even a semi final in Europe.

You'd imagine Citys top brass were hoping for more when they signed him.

I suspect so. I mean hasn't he spent like £400 million on defenders and still has gapping holes in defence? Likewise it seems City's most key players to get them out of trouble, Aguero, Yaya, Silva, Kompany where all Mancini's players.

A semi final in Europe is the absolute minimum you would need if you're spending what he has done year in year out

Another good performance from West Ham. Despite all the negativety we've been the best side in all but one game this season.

Nice result against one of the most in-form teams since football started after the COVID break.

The limitations of Arsenal's very average and slow midfield where exposed. I've said before Xhaka is constantly exposed against any team with pacey players. Elneny is playing the football of his life and is ok and Arteta's tactics basically mean we by-pass the midfield for half our goals these days. Arsenal need to buy a few quality midfielders before the transfer window. Midfielders who can react quickly, move the ball forward quickly, make and work space and keep the ball when needed. But Arsenal are a team at the start of a building journey, Liverpool are the complete team.

Just proves hard work pays off.

Liverpool forwards work so hard to get the ball back.

United's players are very lazy in comparison and play too slow.

Arsenal definitely getting better. Playing intelligently as well unlike teams of the past few years

Arsenal's midfielders are still to slow to play passes and sport space and even move around. Elneny at least is energetic but Xhaka can't play at pace or quick thinking at all and is always exposed. I see Liverpool and hope Arsenal can grow to that level.

Champions League draw looks like it's going to have some rough groups:

Juventus and Barca in the one group, Bayrern and Atletico in another.

A bit mad that they did away with the coefficients and now clubs like Zenit and Porto are ranked higher than Barca, City, Atletico, but eh Platini wanted to ensure PSG got an easy ride.

Group A: Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, Red Bull Salzburg, Lokomotiv Moscow

Group B: Real Madrid, Shakhtar Donetsk, Inter Milan, Borussia Monchengladbach

Group C: Porto, Man City, Olympiakos, Marseille

Group D: Liverpool, Ajax, Atalanta, Midtjylland

Group E: Sevilla, Chelsea, Krasnodar, Rennes

Group F: Zenit St Petersburg, Borussia Dortmund, Lazio, Club Bruges

Group G: Juventus, Barcelona, Dynamo Kiev, Ferencvaros

Group H: Paris St-Germain, Man Utd, RB Leipzig, Istanbul Basaksehir

Some tasty groups - some not so tasty. Man City & Chelsea lucked out
Tough group for Utd - but at least it's not Group B

Also - who the f*ck are Ferencvaros?!

Don't think Utd will get out of that group though Leipzig have obviously lost Werner.

They've signed Sorloth who while rubbish at Palace scored 33 goals last season in Turkey.

How do they decide when to postpone/call off games?

West Ham should really have postponed their games after the positive tests. And liverpool should too.

If I was a player, I'd be seriously concerned about long term implications of catching it. It could end your career.

call me biased, but that leeds - man city game was something else. it's been a long time since i enjoyed 'the beautiful game' so much.

7 points from 4 games (including liverpool and city). reckon even the most optimistic lufc fans will be surprised at that start.

Good start from the scum. They are running very hard though. No team has ever managed to keep up that kind of tempo for very long. Interesting season ahead.

Whatever money they spent on Pogba is also up there. Never seems to look like he gives a f**k. They are like a mirror opposite of Fergie’s team.

Kane holy smokes the form hes in at the moment.

7 games?
9 goals
8 assists

 what the hell is that form lol. Tottenham were excellent today. Man Utd's problems have been spoken to death online but Spurs deserve credit for cutting them to pieces all season. Mourinho's grin at the end. 8)

Leeds will beat Man Utd this season.

It was only United, but good to see anyway. We wont be the only ones giving them a drubbing this season based on that.
