presume that would be Martin Scott ? he died backin 2005, oddly i was the last person to see him on the club grounds - i rocked up (late) for a game, he was leaving the car park in his car and said Hi, as he wasn't feeling well.... heart attack the following night. was v sad.

Last club that played for properly was Garstang in the UK in 2011. Used to play to fairly decent standard.

Have played for Galwegians, Shannon, NUIG and Ennis

Actually did any of the UK boardies ever play Garstang. Quite the club, some men for drinking port after a game.

Unfortunately no.

Cracked eye socket 2 years ago and 3 operations later, my eyes are still stuffed up (but getting better). 1 more operation to go though.

Otherwise, I'd still be playing.

stopped playing in summer of 2003 due to one too many dislocations of the shoulder (and have since popped it again over 10 times, including once whilst reffing!).

Took up reffing and ref at a reasonable level.

Yes, that was the name mentioned. A pint of Guinness was brought onto the field before the game and all the Manor boys shared a sip. Quite a nice touch I thought, although was a bit annoyed they didn't bring me out a G&T.

I knackered my ankle ligaments and shoulder rotator cuff in my last game, which was my first game back after a slipped disc - so yes you are correct...
