George Lee on the RTE news now. As Jason Byrne said on Father Ted: "these are fake hands"
His real hands are under the table pulling the lad off himself

Duff is basically glued to twitter and Primetime these days telling the rest of us to get on with our lives.

Took a stroll down the village while he was glued to Michaèl and telling us all to get on with our lives.

That was as inevitable as day into night. DCC and SDCC and Fungal are destroyed with Trots and Shinners stupiding their way through the council buildings. They have been for years and should have been a portent of what was to come on the national stage

The letter from Holohan, quite bizarre, lots of emotive language. The ICU available beds is just dishonest.

https://assets.gov.ie/89950/7a01b63b-8f ... adbda8.pdf

There there is no reference to the criteria in place to determine what prompts Level 5. Very little mention of the roadmap and the structured planning and transitions that they are supposed to adhere to.

Any prick can become a professor these days. You just need to concentrate on getting a few journal articles done and then get your students to do the rest. This bird is a professor and I bet she is a pain in the arse https://bellarminenews.lmu.edu/womens-a ... ook-award/

Leo is clearly on the message ...

"NPHET is shit" based on the their proposals, the data, their lack of consultation, their blindsiding of the HSE, their lack of consideration of the consequences for people losing their jobs and its financing... infallible hospital consultants who are not used to being challenged ...

Stay data-driven, Leo, and drive over them.

They and their weak blind-faith supporters are fools who would lead us into a furnace.

Take some time and don't over-react. Once you lockdown on such scant information, it becomes very hard to justify coming out without hard data.

If you are not sure, don't overreact. Almost no-one is dying from Covid19 alone so we have time to think ... this is not March when we had to believe every story we were told.

Take time and let's have a proper debate before we take impactful action.

Basically was very critical of NPHET.

Said they wanted to experiment with a circuit break ans shutdown for 4 weeks with no plan b if therr was no improvement after 4 weeks.

He then said the 40 in NPHET wouldnt need PUP .

It was a direct attack on Holohon

Ah I feel sorry for Tony. Looks like he was asked to come back in like a shining knight and halt the inexorable slide to Northern Italian hospitals circa March 2020. Probably had calls with them, strategised in their little bubble, group thinking the living shit out of it. They aren't bad people just given to much rein and off they went.

Basically reiterating what we,ve been telling yourself and Roger Furlong for months....NPHET give advice on one obviously important part of covid but they've got to look at the entire picture including the economy, mental health, poverty, etc, NPHET didn't have a plan B, didn't have to think about telling businesses, employees they,ve lost their businesses, jobs late on a Sunday night effective immediately....but sure how dare we question NPHET recommendations

If they try and injunct the developers it could cost them an awful lot of money.

He looked up a full Windsor tutorial on YouTube 10 minutes before going on air. He saw Harvey Spector pull it off on suits and mistakenly thought it would suit his pencil neck feeble build. It may have taken Tubridy 10 years to realise he couldn’t carry off the shirt and tie look but he got there in the end.
