There’s been 2,383 cases in the last 14 days. 2.28% is about 54 persons...so yes it will have an impact on our reported people in hospital with Covid.

https://www.hpsc.ie/a-z/respiratory/cor ... ebsite.pdf
A further look down on this shows it as 2.43% now- or 58 persons.

The 14-day epidemiology report has 58 patients, and 69 healthcare staff catching covid in the past 14 days.

https://www.hpsc.ie/a-z/respiratory/cor ... ebsite.pdf

That number of patients alone is a major driver of overall covid hospitalisation numbers.

I don't know whether that's poorly worded in the report or not, but it says over the last 14 days 58 patients and 69 staff have gotten Covid in a healthcare setting. If what Prof. Lambert is saying is true, it should be a national scandal.

So here are the levels

https://twitter.com/newschambers/status ... 97728?s=21

As I heard in the press conference, wet pubs can remain open to a degree on even level 5.

But they can’t on 2.5 in Dublin...

In fact there is no difference between pubs with food and pubs without there, so why the continued distinction?

So will we get Dublin moving to level 3 next week...and then the pubs can open?

She got in by being a Green at the time people were looking for a fresh face and the Greens were fashionsble. She might have raised her profile enough now to retain the seat although not with the same vote.

Yup, I just flicked down on it and it updates on Stat’s numbers.

Would they discharge someone who tests positive for Covid but might have a mild enough hospital ailment otherwise?

I hope Dublin doesn’t fall back into level 3 from “level 2”.

We’ll then be allowed to go to wet pubs.

Even worse if it gets to level 4, we’ll then be able to drink in beer gardens.

We are much better staying in the lower risk “level 2”.

The only 2 I could think he would be talking about would be the Swan Sean Lynchs pub run by his son Ronan and Wishing well in Blackrock which both be connected to St Marys.

Hines have got PP from ABP for Phase 1 of the so called "Players Wills-St Theresa's Gardens" site.

The permission is for 416 units on the 1.52ha Baily Gibson part of the site, in a series of blocks ranging from 5 to 16 stories.

The Phase 2 application for 975 units, in blocks from 4 to 19 stories, on the 2.78 ha Players Wills site is due to be lodged to ABP in the near future.

The DCC part of the site, 850 units on 6 ha remains on the DCC Architects drawing boards subject to the usual grandstanding by the SHinners and the Greens.

A mates kid came up with a cracker. He said he had a pain in his stomach and a scratchy throat, some of the family had had the sneezes and been off, so he got the day off and a pending test. His elder sibling then ratted him out that there was nothing wrong with him and he had been told by a friend in school just say you have a pain in you belly and a sore throat if you can't muster a runny nose.
Won't be the last to fake it. Very predictable! The little shits.
