Oh Christ I didn’t realise they were planning on bringing back this ridiculous and unenforceable 5km limit again - it’ll be ignored by the only people who need to pay heed. This is ridiculous stuff

So, we have an outdoor activity booked every Sat for one of ours. I'm trying to figure out if it's going to be allowed continue with the new restrictions. Thing is, if it is, it's over 5km from our house. Hmmmmm.

No, not in the realms of 'ah, I thought it was closer'! Well, not if 10k (ish+) is nearly 5k!

It's not the shite they're trying to stop but still......

That's not a problem at the moment.

Our debt is being bought up by the ECB and put into a vault that says "do not open".

It was being discussed on Off The Ball yesterday afternoon. Some heads were saying Bogball should be considered Elite Sports, meaning the All Ireland could/should go ahead.
When they were questioned about the ability to effectively cocoon like the rugby players, they had no answer.

Varadkar's already made comments questioning how amateur players in the GAA can cocoon compared to fully pro guys.

They can't, is the simple answer. The GAA can piss and moan all they want, but they're an amateur organisation at the end of the day.

They're quarter/semi pro in the better counties, though they choose to deny it. But yeah they need to suck it up til the pandemic's over.

Allegedly some of the country clusters are directly linked to GAA County finals and the shenanigans thereafter.
