I doubt Dan Carter would have thrived with a Faz outside him, both not being an option and being ‘coaches pet’, captain, mr 80 minutes and dominating everything in camp.

I do wonder if Ford's teetering genuinely.

9 and 10 should be looked at, but Ford isn't the problem. But this 6 Nations he's had no centers running onto the ball to do anything effective. Though I see that Faz is still effectively undropable if that's what Jones is looking at. It's still coming a campaign too late.
If they park Faz outside Smith to run the show from 12 then why bother. Really hope Smiths selection coincides with Tuilagi coming back into the side.
I agree.
Lot of hope riding on Tuilagi actually playing/being any good post this current injury.

Manu will still be a devastating carrier, but will also Break fairly quickly. I’d have thought he’s off to France anyway?

Played 14 games for england in nearly 6 years Anon, it's a fair point for such a pivotal player.

It's a pathetic point. The man did his pec in 2013 then he had recurring groin problems which looked like they might end his career. Then in 2017 he had 9 months out with his knee injury and was the free from serious injury for 2 years until he did his achilles with a contact injury.

Ford's spiral bombs toying with a team again. Did he even use that tactic for England?

Also, potential poach alert, with Dan Kelly's stock rising.

It’s such a shame that Manu has had such shit luck with injuries... looking back, he could have been English rugby’s Andy Powell... he chinned Chris Ashton, dived off a ferry while pissed at the WC, tore apart the AB’s, seemed to be a really decent dude, too.

I don't think Tuilagi is made of glass, I just think he plays with such a physical style, for obvious reasons, it takes it's toll. If teams used him less and used more alternatives if play style, his body wouldn't creak so much.

he should get cited and then his season could be gone just being back today from a 4 week ban.

Take out those 2, who is a consistent carrier in the pack?

Curry, George, Sinckler from the current crop. Lawes and Underhill can make yards. Then you've got to assume if Billy is replaced, it's by either DomB or Simmonds - both can carrry. One is bigger than the other, but Simmonds uses low centre of grav plus power to generate yards.
In traffic?
Try against Toulouse was a pick and go vs 2 players. Same against Glasgow. Same against La Rochelle

All in the first 2 mins in this video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RatqrNrHps4&t=184s
Sorry but that is basically a backs highlight video. There is no example of him carrying in traffic. I couldnt imagine him making any impact from the base of a scrum against international player.
I gave you three examples of him carrying against forwards, but OK

I can't get over that. The cunt took him from Wasps for the whole 6n's with no intention of playing him. Just so he could see what he was like in that environment. Jones needs a slap.
