I didn't actually mean to buy it, I bid on ebay expecting to be outbid and no one did. Adam only comes with 3 doors and I needed 5. Plus it's a poor mans Fiat 500.

Ah I see. Buying a car on eBay without test driving it is braver than anything I could do tbh, how do you know you are not buying a box of problems ? (Unlikely on a low mileage car). Was it from a dealer ?

I'd already driven a 2015 corsa thoouugh different variant so no shocks there. The guy buys them cat s and has garages do them up. 12 month mot plus i had vauxhall near me check it out and it passed on everything. He's got v good feedback and posts pics of the damage. Cost 4k for a 2015 with 5.5k miles plus the se is the top variant besides elite. I'll pop a link up when I'm home.

My daughter has an Adam. The steering and handling are shocking.

The corsa is very solid, no suprises in steering or handling, it's actually quite a dull car to drive even though it's a 1.4 90bhp. It has city mode which loosens the steering wheel, good for parking.

The bunny or PC? It's overkill for what I need, but should be fun. Been offered a ludicrously good cpu cooler for a decent price, but having just blown my budget, I'm a bit reluctant, even with the good price. Trying to shift the cooler I have now, if I can get £20 for it (maybe even £15...), I might go for it. Even more overkill, but at least it won't be too hot.

This has been on my wish list for around 15 years, I started looking seriously 2 years ago and finally found what I was looking for. It's a turnkey factory built car from a company called ERA based in Connecticut, they are one of the premier companies in this business with a reputation for a very well engineer product that is an accurate replica of the original Cobra.

Thanks guys, after getting flooded in Harvey last year and having to rebuild the house, I decided life was too short to wait any longer. It’s a very visceral experience to drive, definately have to recalibrate the brain after driving my regular car.

Well yes and no, it's a 427S/C car with a 428 engine, which may of the originals were actually fitted with to keep the costs down. Engine build specs are:

• 428 - Believed to be a 1968 block based on some of the numbers
• Scat 4.250 forged crank and rods giving 462 ci
• Mahle forged Pistons
• Edelbrock aluminum heads
• Edelbrock aluminum intake
• Holley 750 vac carb
• Howard hydraulic roller cam
• Harland Sharp rocker assembly
• Canton road race oil pan

A streetable engine with 500HP and 520 lbft, which works nicely on a 2600lbs car :D

Don’t worry , I’m unlikely to have people round who will soil it with poo and Rapey jizz

I have many faults, but lack of hygiene is not one of them

So it will be soiled by normal jizz or is all jizz rapey in your head?

I had to. Went with the 2700 which is a 1.3 ton vehicle without the turbo the 2500 has and no airconditioning. Had the back section rubberized. It is an impressive 2800mm long x 1320 wide with drop sides. Really was a nice drive from the dealership but not a vehicle I will get to drive much.

Not my one, but practically identical. Was cheap enough and is good for moving boxes of stuff around which I needed.

It's the fully laden VIP Jap people mover though. Twin sunroofs, DVD screens front/back, leather reclining chairs, electric doors. Has a 110V power outlet, plug in RCA bullshit for wifi crap and all sorts of weird unnecessary shit. Mines 4WD, I'm f**ked if I know why but I suppose if I ever need to drive through a puddle I'll probably be safe. For a two ton vehicle with the aerodynamics of a brick it goes pretty good.

I started buying Efco on the recommendation of the service agent I use for my Stihl (chainsaw and KombiSystem) and Husqvarna (lawn tractor) kit. When I was looking for a strimmer he could have sold a me a more expensive Stihl, but felt that Stihl's quality on their semi pro / domestic kit had dropped and the Efcos were a better buy for what I need. I now have a Efco strimmer and hedge cutter and am very pleased with them.

I am beginning to think there is a 7 year lifespan on manufacturing machinery...

So far this year
1. Rewound our Pressbrake motor.
2. Total overhaul of notching machine.
3. New delivery vehicle.
4. Now our compressor packed up.....piston through the head.....

Advice to all...sell up before 7 years because its going to cost you.
We have a maintenance programme but this is just wear and tear.
