Hareaway would be creaming his pants if that was electricEdinburgh01 wrote:I started buying Efco on the recommendation of the service agent I use for my Stihl (chainsaw and KombiSystem) and Husqvarna (lawn tractor) kit. When I was looking for a strimmer he could have sold a me a more expensive Stihl, but felt that Stihl's quality on their semi pro / domestic kit had dropped and the Efcos were a better buy for what I need. I now have a Efco strimmer and hedge cutter and am very pleased with them.
I got the exact same one in the summer. Was very sceptical about it but I would have to say it is one of those purchases that has massively surpassed expectationsbackrow wrote:just got this - surprisingly easy to set up, decent jets and comfort too
I suppose the lads in there were just part of the package. I’d ditch em.BlackMac wrote:I got the exact same one in the summer. I stared working full-time from home and bought this in October. Very pleased with it. I have 2 large monitors, 2 laptop and a dicking station on mine and not issue with that weight.Raggs wrote:
Absolute steal. Sit/stand electric adjustable desk. Half price sale, so it's what you'd pay for the cheapest hand crank one I could find, and it's not as good for weight bearing anyway. On top of that, there was a 24% off christmas voucher, so for £160 I couldn't resist. Early christmas present to myself (though my mum has said she'll pay for it, she'd offered before when she knew I was after a desk).
Just had to show off a bit, since it's a ludicrous bargain.
Quite impressive that it takes the load of being a dicking station.VBall wrote:I stared working full-time from home and bought this in October. Very pleased with it. I have 2 large monitors, 2 laptop and a dicking station on mine and not issue with that weight.Raggs wrote:

It is up and down like a whore’s knickers without any issue. I paid a lot more .... or should I say the company paid a lot more for it.
Just realised that with a great weight rating, I no longer have to worry about where I'm putting my case, it can just sit on the desk nowVBall wrote:I stared working full-time from home and bought this in October. That AND a Waitrose turkey. This truly is the end of days.Edinburgh01 wrote:Not a purchase, but a Christmas gift my wife received. She was puzzled why a friend would have given her a stapler for Christmas, assuming there was some hidden joke to it. So she Googled it. £70 for a stapler. The world has gone mad.
It may just be. I did not mention my brother in law owns the local butchers. His sister getting a Waitrose turkey will lead to familial fun and games. With any luck my sister in law will stop talking to us again.happyhooker wrote:That AND a Waitrose turkey. This truly is the end of days.
I have one of these at work and they are the dogs b#####ks.Raggs wrote:

Thanks but we can't as we live in the back of beyond and Sky do not cover our area for broadband.Sandstorm wrote:Switch your BB to Sky
Is that the hatch? Looks a bit ood. What size motor?Edinburgh01 wrote:One of my sons has just acquired this car. He was keen on VW but those within his price range and mileage / age parameters were very basic. Saw this at the dealers and it hit the spot. Very well equipped, appears well built, apparently very reliable, but not the most exciting to drive, which is actually fine for a young man as he'll be less tempted to do stupid things.
This is not a make that was anywhere on our radar for a hatchback, but I am very impressed.
You've a smashing houseSpyglass wrote:Recently finished outdoor kitchen and dining area additions. The Primo ceramic grill/smoker is an amazing piece of kit, very flexible for either low and slow or searing steaks.

His 'outdoor kitchen' is about the size of my flat in London.feckwanker wrote:You've a smashing houseSpyglass wrote:Recently finished outdoor kitchen and dining area additions. The Primo ceramic grill/smoker is an amazing piece of kit, very flexible for either low and slow or searing steaks.

Yep, we definitely have mosquitoes. I have a fixed system that automatically sprays pyrethrin from the eves of house and other outdoor areas, it operates at dawn and dusk, in addition I'll fog on a Friday night if it gets really bad after a lot of rain. This combination keeps them at bay.lexpat wrote:Nice place.Spyglass wrote:Thanks, but don't get too carried away, it's Houston and it flooded in hurricane Harvey.....KnuckleDragger wrote:Was just thinking the same - I hope its near a crap seaside resort.....feckwanker wrote:You've a smashing house
No screen, you don't have mosquitoes?
Switched to a more generic image which lets you see the lines more clearly.sorCrer wrote:Is that the hatch? Looks a bit ood. Interesting, we are plagued by midges (smaller than mozzies, but just as unpleasant) which respond to the same deterrents. Never heard of an automatic spray system.Spyglass wrote:Yep, we definitely have mosquitoes. You can either go with a 45 gal drum or the newer tankless systems, this is an example system supplier: https://www.mistaway.com/Edinburgh01 wrote:Interesting, we are plagued by midges (smaller than mozzies, but just as unpleasant) which respond to the same deterrents. Mind you, our level of investment in outdoor catering is a tiny percentage of yours.
